You slowly open your eyes lifting your head up slightly. You turn to look over at Sasha who's still sleeping. It must still be early in the morning you think to yourself. 

You turn your head the other way to check on Jean to see he was already awake looking out the window beside your bed 

"good morning" he whispers not turning to look at you 

"good morning" you say back you pull the blanket down to check on Jean's injuries seeing from the corner of your eye he was watching you 

"Levi" 

you stop, looking up to Jean slowly 

what did he just say 

you cock your head to the side confused just as you were about to ask what he just said Jean answers your question 

"that's what you were saying in your sleep"

you sit there letting what Jean was saying sink in before stating 

"no I wasn't" with a bit of a hiss 

"I couldn't sleep good because of..... the pain" Jean says 

"you kept mumbling Levi in your sleep" he continues questioningly

right before the awkward conversation could continue there was a loud knock on the door. You stand to your feet looking back at Jean realizing he wasn't supposed to be there you think either Eren realized Jean didn't return last night or that Hanji went to check on him and came here knowing you took him last night.

Before you could go answer the door it swings open to reveal Captain Levi. Your eyes go wide you were already in enough trouble. 

You see Sasha sit up in her bed stretching awakened by the noise 

"I figured you were here, Kirstein" Levi says making his way into the room 

"Sir, I can explain" Jean says 

"I'm sure you can" Levi states 

Levi's eyes make their way from Jean, to you, then back to Jean 

"I didn't want to be in the same room with Eren after what happened, Sir" Jean pleads

you turn to look at Jean. 

Is that true? Did he not want to be with Eren because he's a titan shifter?

"I understand cadet. You should have spoken with Hanji or me about this we could have made an arrangement for you" Levi says 

why isn't Levi yelling?

"come now Hanji need to give your medication. I'll take you" Levi states walking over to Jean as he gets out of bed 

Jean turns to you as you hand him his pants. You watch as Jean walks to the hall, Levi behind him Levi turns back to you and Sasha 

"You two get ready and get down to breakfast before you get leftovers" was all he said 

once you hear them making their way down the hall you shut the door turning to Sasha 

"that was weird" she says getting out of bed 

"very" you say as you start to get ready

After breakfast, you head to go clean the stables Levi stops you 

"cadet" he says you stop saluting him he gives you a nod as you let your arms fall back to your side "I'm going to have you help Hanji out, while your off missions.. I'll have Armin do stable duty with Eren"
