Amitys POV
Two hours ago I offered to drive. And in that two hours, I somehow managed to explode the whole fucking car...
2 hours earlier
I looked at Luz and she looked tired. I tried to ignore it, but the feeling that I should help came in faster than I thought.
"Let me drive"
She looked at me and sighed.
"I swear if you crash it, I'm going to kill you" Luz groaned.
I chuckled and helped her into the passenger side. I got into the driver's side and tried to position my arm into a more comfortable position.
"Are you sure you can drive with a fractured arm?" Luz snickered.
I scoffed and elbowed her in the side.
"Ow! You remember you broke my ribcage!" Luz hissed.
I started the car and jumped a bit. Luz looked at me with disbelief and I chuckled a bit. I stepped on the gas and started driving.
"Do you even know how to drive?"
I looked at her with embarrassment and nodded my head.
"Y..yeah?"
For the past two hours everything's been good. The sun set and I felt Luz's head fall on my shoulder. I smiled a bit, but that smile fell when I hit a small bump. I noticed it was some random holes in the road.
"Why the hell doesn't the god damn government fix these stupid roads" I mumbled.
'I tried to avoid the holes, not to be nice or anything! Wait...am I doing this for her? What is she doing to me?!'
She sleepingly muttered something and moved a bit. I blushed more and didn't pay attention to the road ahead of me, and I ended up crashing into a tree. The noise woke Luz and she went into panic mode.
"What the fuck?!" She yelled.
"I-im s..sorr-"
She pulled me out of the car and noticed a piece of glass was in my arm.
"A-are you ok?!" She asked in a panic.
I blushed more and hummed in response.
"Y-yeah.."
"I have to do something, and it might hurt" she said.
I nodded. She sighed and looked at the glass piece. In a swift motion, she pulled the glass out of my arm.
"Shit!" I yelled.
She ripped a part of her sleeve from her flannel and tied it around my arm. Stupidly, tears start falling from my eyes and she sighed. She cupped my face and gave me a kiss on the head. This was the straw. My face start heating up and I nearly passed out.
"Shit, now your nose is bleeding"
"My what now?" I muttered.
I touched my nose and indeed, there was blood.
"Erm...I'm sor-"
BOOM!!
We looked behind us and the whole car was on fire. Luz gasped and pulled me back.
"No! My baby!" She cried.
"Welp...there goes the car...."
