Days went by in a hurry, training was all I could think about.
And soon enough, the big day came.

I woke up to the pitter-patter of rain drops hitting the window. I jumped out of bed as I glanced at my phone. Oh shit, it's 7 already.

I sprinted to the bathroom to get dressed, brushing my teeth and showering in a hurry. I bounced downstairs, seeing that my parents had already left home for work and exited the house with a piece of toast.

The written exam was a breeze.

However..

As I stood in the Battle Arena, looking for robots to fight, I realized that this practical would not be the same as the written portion.

Present Mic had explained this part of the exam to us. Participants had to destroy as many villain-bots as possible that were scattered across the city replica to earn points

I raced to find bots using Heightened Sense as others around me destroyed them.

Run,Y/N, otherwise you won't get points.

I zoomed past other kids as I switched off Heightened Sense and blew up the robot with explosions.

That should get me some good points.

Suddenly, the ground shook and smoke erupted as the 0p robot came towards us.

It towered over the buildings and punched the ground, throwing a blast of air, dust and debris at us.

Quite an overwhelming threat.

We swiftly ran in the opposite direction hoping to avoid the robot.

In the rubble, a cry of pain was heard. The smoke covered our view but through it, we all could see a green-haired boy jump through.

He punched the robot and it began to tumble down; Oo's and Ah's were heard through the crowd.

This boy... he looked familiar.

As the boy began to fall, it became obvious to me who he was.

Izuku..

I knew him quite well. I looked around as his words rang in my head, he wasn't the only one I knew who wanted to come to UA.

A girl saved him as he fell and just at time, Present Mic announced that time was up.

This outfit gets itchier and itchier..

I stood by the counter as customers chattered around and about.

"𝑆𝑜, ℎ𝑜𝑤 𝑑𝑖𝑑 𝑖𝑡 𝑔𝑜?!?" A voice boomed from behind me. Ahmya-San, my mom's best friend and the owner of this Cafe, stood behind me with a notepad pressed to her chest.

A third voice joined the conversation before I could reply back "𝑆ℎ𝑒'𝑠 𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑙𝑦 𝑑𝑦𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑟𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡 𝑛𝑜𝑤, 𝑙𝑒𝑎𝑣𝑒 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑔𝑖𝑟𝑙 𝑏𝑒 𝐴ℎ𝑚𝑦𝑎-𝑆𝑎𝑛".

Haru, my coworker.

He wasn't wrong. My bones ached as if I had gotten hit by a truck.

I turned around and faced the two voices.

"𝑀𝑦𝑎-𝑆𝑎𝑛, 𝑞𝑢𝑖𝑒𝑡 𝑑𝑜𝑤𝑛 𝑤𝑜𝑢𝑙𝑑 𝑦𝑎? 𝑀𝑦 ℎ𝑒𝑎𝑑 𝑖𝑠 𝑝𝑜𝑢𝑛𝑑𝑖𝑛𝑔".

"𝑇𝑜𝑙𝑑 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑠𝑜, 𝑙𝑒𝑎𝑣𝑒 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑔𝑖𝑟𝑙 𝑏𝑒 𝐴ℎ𝑚𝑦𝑎-𝑆𝑎𝑛".

"𝑂𝑘, 𝑜𝑘 𝑝𝑎𝑟𝑡𝑦𝑝𝑜𝑜𝑝𝑒𝑟𝑠", She huffed and looked at me again, "𝐵𝑢𝑡 ℎ𝑜𝑤 𝑑𝑖𝑑 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑑𝑜?!"
