"Your name, why Vanessa?"

My father named me Vanessa because my mother loved butterflies. OK, back to the point.

We went somewhere, a dark place full of different people. We went into a shop, there were disgusting things in it. Its name was Borgin & Burkes. A road, or a street. It was pitch black where we were. It was dark not only abstractly but concretely, but, but the other side of the road was so beautiful. It is a bright, sunlit, warm place full of people. Lots of people wearing robes, talking to friends or meeting their lover. Some were kids my age. With books in their hands, they were constantly showing their families something, begging them to get what they liked. At that moment, I envied them. I was out for the first time, and as soon as I got out I was on a dark road.
