Eight

CLAUDE'S. P.O.V

We are sitting in the Alpha's room while discussing what is the elder said. Alpha Lake, Raiver's father, is now contacting the other pack where the little were-witch are.

Hybrids are normal but rare.  There are only some circumstances that us, underlings, are mated to different breed or to humans. Our genes are not compatible and may result to many mutations. Example are seers, lycans, half-breed vampires, and were-witch. Were-witches are the hybrid of werewolves and witches. They are also called shifters, because their genes are combination of elemental properties that came from the witch blood, and the physical type that is came from the werewolf. They can also shift from different specie to another and cast a spell. Nakadepende ito sa kung ano ang ieenhance ng hybrid. They are the minorities in this world.

Beside me is Raiver, na ngayon ay nakafocus sa laptop niya at gumagawa ng schoolworks while I am holding my book. Hindi ko pinapahalata na kinakabahan ako sa maaari kong malaman. This is the part of Luna's craziness that I don't like. She is unpredictable.

Minutes passed and Raiver is done with everything and now playing my hands.

''Your hands are small.'' I blush and frown at him.

''It's because of genes, you know I got all my qualities from my mom, I only got my eye color from my dad.'' I explained.

''Well I didn't notice that at first.'' he pout. I found it cute, I want to pinch his cheeks pero pinigilan ko ang sarili ko.

''It is because you always bully me.'' i joked but regret it after I saw his eyes filled with regret.

Nagulat ako nang bigla niya akong hilahin paupo sa lap niya. He hug me and put his face on my neck and sigh. I can feel the heat on my face.

''I'm sorry.'' he sincerely said. It makes me smile. Nang hindi ako sumagot ay inalis niya ang ulo niya sa leeg ko at tumingin sa akin. When he saw me smiling, he instantly smile too.

''I mean seriously, hindi naman ako naapektuhan because I know you all are afraid of my mother. Pero buti na lang at hindi ninyo ginalaw ang mga libro ko or else I will castrate you.''

''Aw. That's sad for our children. Pinagtangkaan akong baugin ng kanilang papa.'' I blushed when I heard that.

Family? Papa? Children? Oh my Luna! I mean, I always dreamed of a happy family but before that, you need to perform that nasty thing called sex and since I am the Omega, I will become the bottom. And it means I will be the one receiving the....

I look at the confuse face of Raiver, sex. I know it is not his first time because he had fair share of girls and Oh! Nevermind, it is hurting me so I decided to get out on my position and continue reading my books. Raiver sense my change of mood.

''I know what you're thinking and trust Luna I am regreting everything that I have done.'' he said after cupping may face to look at him.

I sigh for the nth time to ease the emotions I am feeling.

''You didn't have to,  I know wolves are sexual beings. You have needs to be fulfilled so you looked for it. Hindi mo rin naman kasi masisigurado kung masasatisfy ka ng mate mo kaya... Excuse me.''

I can't handle my emotions kaya tumayo ako para magpahangin sa labas. Alam kong naiintindihan naman ni Raiver ang gagawin ko kaya hindi siya sumunod.

I remember the story of my parents, there are each others first. Sabi ni mama, it was magical. The feeling of your mate kissing you passionately, making love to you, is magical. Just like in the books wherein you experience the happy ending you are looking.

Maybe that's the flaw in my story. We maybe each other's last, but not each other's first. Kahit na sabihin kong okay lang, nandoon pa rin ang sakit.

RAIVER'S P.O.V

Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.

Paulit-ulit kong mura sa isip ko. Hindi mawala sa utak ko ang mukha ni Claude noong sabihin ko ang bagay na iyon. The pain and suffering he reflects almost killed me. I know he knows that he will not be my first and as a werewolf, your first should be your mate. I know that it is Claude's dream but I fuck it all. Halos makalimutan kong nandito si Dad kung hindi pa siya tumikhim. I look at him and he heard and saw what happened.

''Alam ko ang feeling na iyan anak. Nagdaan din ako sa posisyon mo.'' naagaw nito ang atensyon ko. Lumipat ako ng upuan, sa may tapat ng mesa niya.

''What do you mean? Hindi mo rin una si mom?''

''Yes. Nasaktan din siya pero later on, natanggap din naman niya. Anong ginawa ko? I showed her that even she's not my first, I am regretful to that and I am deserving to be her first.'' he smiled  to me, I can see the proudness in his eyes.

''Pakiramdam ko, may kasalanan din ako kung bakit ka nandyan ngayon because I always taught that sex is just for man's ego but I realize that as a werewolves, with mates and followers of Luna, it is sacred and important. Pero I am not judging you, it is just that, we need to be mindful of what we are doing so we won't regret it in the future. ''

''I don't know what to do.'' I said. He grinned to me before looking at his phone.

''I heard that the pack that you will visit is a tourist spot eh?'' tinaas-taas pa niya ang kilay niya. I realize what he stating, kaya ngumiti rin ako sa kaniya pabalik.

''Yes! Thanks Dad, you are the best.''
