Chapter nine

"Wait why's vardan angry at me" David asked turning his camera to Suzy.
He had just got to there house and the first thing he was told was that vardan was angry at him.

"Because you've been habging out with charlie Thomson" Suzy laughed "he's like in love with her"
David laughed and turned to the group sitting on the couch. Jason, josh Natalie and Jonah were all sat laughing at how vardan ignored David and walked out of the room.

"This is unbelievable" David laughed sitting with his friends "wait till he finds out I slept at her house last night" he laughed however all of his friends turned to him eyes wide and jaws dropped.

"My man" Jason laughed high-fiving David as he shut off the camera.

"Jason I didn't sleep with her" he laughed "but I might have kissed her, like multiple times."
All of his friends started talking at once and he just looked between them confused.
"Guys please don't make this weird" he laughed and they all seemed to chill out slightly "anyways she's coming round soon, she's just at a meeting."

They all looked at each other, none of them had seen David nervous about a girl in a long time.
"Wait she coming here" Jonah asked Being the first to speak up.

David nodded switching his camera back on. "Dude we have to prank vardan," Jonah said quietly "no lie David he had her Instagram pictures that he's printed off and taped to his wall"

They all laughed but Suzy agreed with Jonah "it kinda scary" she added laughing.

Charlie's 'meeting' with Kim ended up being a quick catch up and less then half an hour later charlie found herself typing the address into her navigation system.
She pressed David's contact and put the phone on speaker as she started driving.

"Hey" he answered after the second ring.
"Hey I'm on my way, it's still okay for me to come yeah?" She was slightly nervous knowing she was going to be in a larger social situation.

"Yeah course. But we had an idea, Jonah's brother is thirteen and is kinda obsessed with you. And we wanted to prank him but also surprise him with you" he said, charlie could practically hear the excitement through the phone.

Laughing she rolled her eyes, of course David wanted to pull a prank. "Sure, I'm like three minutes away" she said hearing him shout a quick "she here" to everyone else.

"Okay I'll meet you out front" he said before handing up. Charlie laughed as she pulled into the drive almost purposely hitting David with her car.

"With that car I'd let you hit me" David laughed pulling her into a hug the minute she stepped out of the car.

"What's the plan?" She asked leaning against her car, David's hands sat loosely on her waist as he began explaining.
"Well when I got here vardan, Jonah's little brother wouldn't talk to me. I then find out it's because he has a huge crush on you so is angry that we've hung out without him." At this point there both giggling but David carried on.
"So we're going to blindfold him and say we have a animal to put on him, and instead we're gonna bring you in"

Charlie shook her head laughing at the plan, "okay let's do it" she laughed feeling a little nervous.
"Oh also, they kinda know we kissed so..." David trailed off nervously scratching the back of his neck.

Smiling she pulled him down for a quick kiss before winking at his and walking towards the house.

"Hey" Jason whispered as charlie hugged him, she had to stay with Jason whilst David spoke to vardan.

"So you and David" Jason teased the minute David left them, charlie ignored him but blushed like crazy.
They could hear vardan agree to be blindfolded, seconds later the bedroom door opened and everyone was looking at charlie trying not to laugh.

David filmed as charlie came in, giving josh a quick side hug before going over to the bed that vardan was laying on.
"Now vardan stay very still okay?" David asked as charlie stood on a chair next to him.

Without warning charlie jumped from the chair onto the bed making vardan scream and throw himself on the floor.
They all burst into laughter as vardan gets up and takes the blindfold off he turns to charlie.

He freezes and everyone waits for his reaction, vardan screams and tackles charlie for a hug however missed and grabbed her legs knocking her down.

Everyone laughed as vardan hugged Charlie's legs screaming, "calm down" josh shouted over the screaming and thankfully he stopped.
"Hi" charlie laughed as vardan sat up and stared at her still in shock.

"Vardan say something" Suzy laughed at her brother "you claim to love her" she said making vardan go bright red.
Charlie laughed along however found herself being distracted by something on the wall behind David.

They all turned and saw Charlie's Instagram photos that had been printed on A4 paper and taped to the wall.
"Oh my god" David laughed filming the wall as the others started laughing even more "I thought you were joking"

"I'm kinda scared" charlie said making them all laugh and vardan to suddenly burst into action, he ran over to the wall and pulled the photos down.
Pretending nothing happened he sat back on the bed opposite charlie "I love you" was the first thing he had decided to say and it made everyone burst into laughter again.

"No no. It's true, now that your friends with David it's like it's fate. We were meant to meet" he said trying to convince the others.
Charlie sat not sure how to respond but Jonah's quickly shit his brother down "she almost a decade older than you, plus vardan her and David are a bit closer than friends"

Vardans head snapped to look at David who had stopped recording knowing nothing that had been said about him and charlie could go into the vlogs yet. "David what the fuck" vardan genuinely looked angry.

Charlie shuffled off of the bed and stood next to josh, mainly to hide slightly as the Arminian boy showed no signs of calming down.

"Your trying it on my girl" vardan said making everyone laugh again.
"Vardan she's not your girl," David laughed "she's way to old for you buddy"

Vardan thought for a second before nodding "that's true" he said before turning back to charlie "I'm such a big fan"
"I can tell" charlie laughed giving the big a proper hug however when she pulled away vardan was still hugging her waist.

Laughing she looked around for help, it took David, Jason and Suzy to get vardan off of charlie.
David ended up pulling charlie to sit down near to him so if there happened to be another 'vardan attack' he had more chance of stopping him.

They spent the rest of the day at Jonah's house messing around and filming bits for vlogs. Like Natalie had promised they post mates chipotle for lunch and charlie postmated Krispy Kreme to come just after much to everyone's excitement.

"Bring her more often" Jonah's mum said to David gesturing at charlie.
"Do you approve" David asked laughing.

"Yes yes. She's very pretty" she said patting David's shoulder "you can come round for kebabs anytime you want" she said to charlie.

"I love kebabs. So I probably will" charlie laughed smiling up at the woman.
David's arm had found itself around Charlie's waist, she couldn't help but smile as he pulled her closer to him.
His friends all saw it as well but no one wanted to say anything and ruin the moment knowing David hadn't even talked about a girl in two years.
