"Jellal!" I shouted. "Where's Ruby's favourite doll?"

All I could hear was the cries of our baby and I tried to calm her down but right now, she just wanted her favourite toy. It was a struggle multitasking as I ran around the nursery room looking for it while stopping in front of her to give her silly faces and whilst trying to zip up my dress.

Ruby, sitting on the floor crying, had the features of her dad yet had my red hair (which became the inspiration for her name). On our honeymoon, we tried for a child and weren't lucky but a few months later we had the good news that I was pregnant. Now, she was two years old and growing as cheeky as her father and tough as her mother.

As the years went by, we had ups and downs with life and a child but got through it with the help of family and friends. Natsu and Lucy had their wedding nearly a year after we got back from our honey moon and Gajeel and Levy had theirs more than a year later. All of them also had rough patches but we helped one another. It was now around two years after Gajeel and Levy's wedding and today was Gray and Juvia's wedding since they spent a lot of time travelling around the world together.

"It's in the living room!" Jellal shouted back.

I yelled back a 'thanks' as I ran into the room and grabbed the doll that was lying on the couch, half hidden under a pillow. When I returned to my daughter with her toy, she squealed in delight as she hugged it tightly, her crying long forgotten. I let out a sigh and finished getting my outfit ready. My silver dress matched the colour of Jellal's tie and we were going to be part of the bridesmaids and best men.

"Come on, Erza!" yelled my husband – I've slightly gotten used to using that term but it still made me feel old. "We can't be late for their wedding!"

"Just calm down. You try having a baby to look after!" was my loud reply.

"I've had a child, thank you very much."

"Not out of your body," I retorted childishly as I finished changing Ruby. "It'll be fine if we're late anyway. Gray can't complain – he dropped the punch bowl at Gajeel's wedding and got in a brawl with Natsu. Then at Natsu and Lucy's wedding, they lost the ring and everyone looked for it for half an hour but it turns out that Natsu had it in his pocket."

"True. We're a bunch of crazy people but at least we never have boring weddings."

"Crazy people," Ruby repeated in her small and cute voice.

I quickly scolded her for saying that and we got back to focusing on getting ready. A few minutes later, we were out of the house and after a car ride filled with Ruby's loud singing that didn't make sense, we arrived at the wedding venue.

"Jellal! Erza! You guys are late," Natsu shouted as he pointed at us.

Lucy told him he was being too loud and he immediately apologised. I laughed – that's what it's been like ever since Lucy got pregnant and she was now a few months pregnant.

Once everything was set up and everyone arrived, the wedding started. The whole ceremony was beautiful and it was more special since it was the last wedding of our close friends. At night, during the banquet, we let loose and got drunk (except for Lucy since she was pregnant) while my mum looked after Ruby in the kids' corner. The music blasted loud, encouraging our wild dancing.

Standing by our table and on the edge of the dance floor, we picked up our glasses of wine.

"Cheers to Gray and Juvia!"

"Cheers to love!"

"Cheers to friendship!"

"Cheers to Fairy Tail!"
