The morning brought a beam of light to the windows of Nymphadora's flat. There was no need for an alarm as the light made her nose twitch slightly as her eyes felt the sun's light. With a heavy sigh, the young auror swung her legs off of her bed and forced herself to sit up.

To her right was a clock; simple, man-made and muggle. Nym's eyes wandered to the hands to read the time.

"Wow, a 7:30am sunrise?" she said to herself, fighting a yawn.

Then it dawned on her.

Scrambling to her feet, the violet-haired witch quickly got dressed into a long-sleeved red and black striped t-shirt, a pair of ripped, black skinny jeans, socks which had star patterns on them, and a long coat- similar to the one she had worn the day before. Without missing a beat, she pulled on her boots. You'd be lucky to see her wear any other kind of footwear. She put on a pair of fingerless leather gloves, and looking at herself in the mirror, frowned. Something was missing.

"Almost forgot!" She exclaimed, picking up her wand and fastening her favourite layered black necklace.

Now she was ready.

Tonks apparated from her messy flat to a secluded alley a street away from 12 Grimmauld Place (or at least that's what the map she had tried to copy onto her hand said). Once she had emerged from the alley, she made sure to walk quickly as she didn't want to be late to her first meeting. For one, she would be embarrassing Mad-Eye, and of course she then would have to awkwardly stroll in. Her biggest fear at Hogwarts was being late to a feast and everyone would look at her as she'd walk in late and on her own.

Nevertheless, the new member had made it safely and perfectly on time to the meeting spot. She surveyed the street in front of her but was confused when she noticed that there was no number 12 Grimmauld Place.

Sure, she and Charlie Weasley had tried to prank Dumbledore, but never did the young witch think he would trick her!

"Well done for being on time." grumbled a voice beside the witch, making her jump slightly.

The voice belonged to none other than Alastor 'Mad-Eye' Moody. But he looked different. Her mind was brought back to the phrase 'mistreatment'. But now was not the best time to ask him what had happened.

"Wotcher Mad-Eye," replied Nymphadora. "Not trying to be funny or anything but there ISN'T a number twelve?"

"We couldn't be out in the open, could we? Now, just think of the location- Don't say it." Mad-Eye snapped as the auror began to open her mouth.

Before them, two houses shifted in opposite directions as another moved in between them.

"So cool..." Tonks whispered under her breath.
