The third of July brought an immense wave of heat which suffocated the South-East of England. A restless night hit all those who suffered in silence without cooling contraptions and charms. A restless night for a thirty-five year-old wizard.
Still hung up on his own insecurities, the argument with the newest member and an impending guard shift, Remus laid in his bed reading once again only this time it was 'The Catcher In The Rye' that had captivated and cleared his overactive mind. In some ways Remus felt connected to the protagonist, Holden Caulfield.
A lone wolf.
But he mustn't dwell on what couldn't be changed. Instead, he put the book down and thought out a careful plan for his shift ahead. He would meet with the youngest auror a street away from Harry's residence and from there they'd carefully plant small listening devices around the front of his house. But where would he get those devices? After all, he'd only seen them in muggle movies. Perhaps there's a charm that would enhance his hearing?
The light streaming through the dated, dusty, drapes told Remus that he better get ready for the day. Arising from the sleepless bed, Lupin wandered through the halls of Grimmauld Place, hoping to take a shower without Sirius' antics interrupting him once again.

Across town, the small (and now stuffy) flat was being slowly illuminated by the rising sun. Nymphadora Tonks, a clumsy and messy witch, laid across two large cushions in her living area. Her mouth slightly open, small snores escaped her lips before she began to stir. To her left was a half-eaten bowl of pasta and to her right laid a book Mad-Eye had asked her to study.
Rustling under the thin blanket, Tonks woke and rubbed her eyes gently. Slowly, she rose to her feet; swaying slightly as the weight of her head caught up with her. Frustrated from her first meeting with the Order Of The Phoenix, Tonks had decided to sulk with a few drinks of firewhisky.
Regretting the decision, the young auror stepped into the shower and let the water pound onto her head as she thought of ways she and Lupin could watch Harry and stay undetected.
'Hmm, what about those bug device things? No. . . They're only in muggle movies.' thought Tonks.
But then she had struck lightning. What they needed was Weasley Wizard Wheezes. Tonks finished her shower quickly and put on a small, ruffled blue skirt, a black bomber jacket with a red t-shirt underneath, striped tights and her usual army boots. After looking at the multicoloured mess nested on top of her head, Nym changed the style of her hair, giving herself the shoulder-length violet hair that she had maintained the days previous.
With a crack, Dora apparated from her flat and had her mind set on the burrow.
The smell of fresh grass, a burning fire and cinnamon infiltrated her nostrils. Despite the early hour of 7am, Tonks knew the weasley family would be awake and already at work with their daily lives. Of course, Molly was not a fan of the twins' business and had even tried to destroy their order forms the year previous- Oh Merlin, Tonks couldn't imagine what Molly would think if she knew the witch was trying to encourage the twins' reckless creations even further.
