(Third Person): It's now a beautiful morning. You were drinking some tea with Ruby, Yang, and Weiss earlier in the morning, as Oscar, is still fast asleep. It was a peaceful morning. Yet you never know if it's going to be your last.
(Back to First)
My morning with some of team RWBY got a little heated so I decided to sneak back to my room for a little while. So I crept down the hallway with a cup of hot tea in my hand, cautious to not be loud and spill piping hot tea on myself. I got to the door, then slowly turn the knob and open the door as I slowly peeked my head in. "Still asleep" Oscar was laying in bed, just as how I left him last night. I slithered into the room ever so quietly not you wake him up.
Then I sat at the foot of the bed, just enjoying the sweet comfort of the quiet morning and sweet soul resting beside me. The sun shined through the window filling the room with a golden hue. It made Oscar even cuter.
A few minutes later after sipping tea and watching bright yellow sunlight slowly fill the sky outside the window, Oscar started to wake up. He opened his eyes and yawned.
"Good morning sleepy head" I looked over my shoulder, smiling toward him and Oscar sat up then looked at me smiling then confused.
"Wait how did I end up sleeping on the bed?" Oscar asked looking around.
"Oh well..." I stood up and placed my tea next on the nightstand and instead picked up the book I had left there after yesterday. I then gazed at him with a smirk and lifted the book in my hand, "You kinda fell asleep while reading." His face started to flush pink out of embarrassment.
"I am so sorry about that. I...I...It was really stupid of me, I should've gone to bed and-" I cut him off and quickly sit on the bed.
"No no-no-no. It's fine! I know it was an accident and I know you were tired. It's no big deal, I promise." I gave him the book in my hand, and he grew a small genuine smile on his face. "And if it makes you any better, I bookmarked the page you were on"
I ruffled his already messy hair then stood up grabbing my teacup. "Let's see what today has in store for us."
"Yeah...Oz does have to talk to Qrow again," Oscar said as he started to bed out of bed.
"Of course, what did I expect. Really wanted to hang out more today, but the man has gotta do his job" I frowned a little, "Oh, that reminds me I have to go talk to Ruby later."
I finished my tea then opened the door to leave the room. "I'll see you later Oscar!" I waved and smiled. And so did he.
(Oscar's POV)
"Y/N trusts you a great deal"
"There isn't one minute you can't but in can you"
"I tell you, Oscar, trust is hard to keep especially in this world now. Keep it...and don't break it"
"Right" I smiled to myself, I just couldn't help to think of Y/N, then I laugh a little to myself. She just makes me feel so relieved, every problem is out of sight when I'm with her.
(Back to Y/N)
A while later Ruby and I talked for a while and both agreed we wanted to ask Oz about the relics. So we made our way to the living room where Oz (with a cup of coffee) and Qrow were talking about something.
"Um...excuse us" Ruby decided to ask first.
"Ah Miss Rose and L/N, join us. We were just about to gather everyone to discuss our next steps." Oz discussed further.
"Oh great," I said, me and Ruby were a little bit anxious. Don't know why but we were.
"Something on your mind kiddos?" Qrow asked the two of us.
"If it's okay to ask," Ruby said, rubbing her shoulder. As I stepped a little bit behind her to give her the spotlight.
"Of course," Qrow responded assuringly.
"Well we've been talking about the relic at Haven and the Spring Maiden but what about the Fall Maiden?"
"Cinder" Oz's voice dropped a little lower.
"Does that mean Salem has the Beacon relic? Ruby asked and I stepped forward, to be even with Ruby. I was visibly nervous.
Oz and Qrow both look at each other then back at us.
"Very astute, Miss Rose. I was wondering who would be the first to ask. But no thankfully she does not. It's true the relic at Haven is very much at risk and for now, that should remain our primary focus. Let's just say I made finding the Relic at Beacon a bit more challenging than the other schools," Oz explained.
"Oh, that's good to hear," I said. Me and Ruby looked at each other kinda relieved.
"It is but let's not forget the challenges that still lie before us."
The tone got a tad bit heavier but was brought up by Oz speaking again.
"Now it there anything else we can help you with?"
"Well we did have one more question," I added.
"No, my cane is not a relic"
"Well, I have no more questions" I laughed as everyone else also did.
"Yes, while this cane is indeed very precious to me, it's just that, precious to me. While I admit it does have a few more tricks up its sleeve, I can firmly say that being a relic isn't one of them"
He tapped his cane beside him.
"Now why don't you both run and get the other students?"
Qrow's phone then rings. He answers it right there as we all listen closely.
"Yeah...Okay...Yeah, we'll be there," He then hangs up.
"Who was it?" I decided to ask.
Qrow sighs and takes out the flask from his shirt, "It was Leo"
"Ugh not him again," I said rolling my eyes. Oz's expression also wasn't satisfactory either.
"He says that he had another breakthrough with the council. Thinks he might be able to get together a small raiding party for the bandits. He wants us to meet up at the school tomorrow night to walk us through it."
"Really oh that's great, we'll go get the others!" Ruby took my arm and dragged me behind her to go get everyone else. I just laughed as I was whisked away by Ruby.
Hmm sounds drastically different from your original conversation, does it not?
That was the last thing I heard from that conversation.
