I was just like one of many students who attended Beacon Academy before it happened. The Fall of Beacon. "OH SHIT!" I yelled as five other Grimm surrounded me. Barely able to stand from my cuts and bruises yet, I gripped and activated my weapon with great anger. Tears streamed down my cold face. It burned. I went full force to keep the Grimm from attacking anyone else.  I was so sore, so tired but I manage to kill one, then two, and then three of them. Paused to catch my breath, still crying. I finish off the fourth and final Grimm.

None of my team or friends were to be found after the attack at the coliseum. They could be dead for all I knew. Alone, wounded, and tired but I still fought in hopes I can find at least one of them. I could feel my legs shake from the sadness and frustration of being alone.

I let out a heavy sigh and looked at the broken grounds Beacon. "It's strange to remember how everyone used to walk through this shit-hole now." I spotted a/an (F/C) rose left untouched and unharmed in a pile of dirt. A small smile grows on my wet face, it gave me a little bit of hope that not all is lost. The tears still burned on my face, but then I wiped them away before running to look for any sign of life.

I ran out to the front grounds of Beacon and spot a lot of other students. I could feel my knees unbuckle as a rush of pain washes over me, but I was still running. My team must be somewhere. Please. My vision got blurrier and blurrier and eventually, I passed out while running. I couldn't feel a thing.

"Is she okay?!" I could hear the faint voice of a girl as my eyes slowly open and focus again. It was Ruby! Us two were growing friends at school before all this. Her father and my father were very good friends so we grew up together. She yelled "Oh thank god you're awake (Y/N)! I slowly sat up again, my head ached terribly but I quickly hugged Ruby with the comfort of finally seeing someone's face. "Thank you, Ruby! I lost my team and didn't know what to do." I started to tear up again but I looked at her and smiled with genuine joy. She smiled back and then ran back to her own teammate Weiss. They both ran off after her scroll rang.

I noticed my cuts were bandaged up, presumingly by Ruby. I glanced at Beacon's Communication Tower as an emerald green light exploded from beneath the tower with Cinder rocketing herself to the top. I already knew what happened, it was more saddening to witness it in real-time. The headmaster was gone.

My father who is a hunter knew Professor Ozpin as a very good friend. He would usually get assigned hunter work from Oz along with Qrow or just by himself. But, my dad would always bring me with him every time he'd visit Oz just to chat and catch up. I would always visit the professor when my dad was away on long missions. Seeing the smile on my dad's when Oz told him I have entered Beacon is the memory I will cherish forever.

I felt some arms wrap around me from the back, I quickly turned around to see one of my teammates, my heart lifted higher from hearing his voice. He yelled, "OMG I THOUGHT YOU WERE A GONER (Y/N)!" I punched his arm in a joking way. We were quite close and I loved that very much. I got up and hugged my teammate glad to see his face again. "I'm too cool to die, I was more worried about you!" He reddened embarrassingly. I grinned at him, he stuck his tongue at me. "Are you okay though?" He asked. "Just a few cuts and bruises!" I didn't even wanna mention my deep cuts and bloodloss. He didn't need to know.

I heard a scream off in the distance, it was faint but I could hear it. I turned to my teammate and screamed "Catch you later clutz!" He looked at me with a face that looked annoyed but by the look on my face, he knew that I didn't wanna be a huntress for nothing!

I sprinted to what seemed to be the old cafeteria. I saw Ruby's other teammates Blake and Yang and briskly skid on my knees to kneel next to the darkly dressed one Blake, who had Yang cradled in her arms. Most of Yang's right arm was sliced right off. Blake cried in frustration "No no no no no this was all my fault! UUGGGHH if I just went with Adam none of this would've happened!!" Took her hand and looked into her eyes "None of this was your fault, Blake, you aren't part of the White Fang anymore but Adam is. He's the one to blame for this, not you."

Her ears slouched as she winced in pain. I ripped part of my cape off and wrapped it around the wound in her abdomen. I said to her in a claiming voice "If you decide to leave or stay, I'm not going to judge you for what you decide to do." Blake lies Yang on the ground and turned to the distance and said to me "Take care of Yang...please." I replied picking up Yang. "I understand, I won't mention this to anyone, I promise." Blake turned to me and then we both ran our separate directions.

Moments later I gazed at the top of the breaking Beacon Tower with Yang right by me being treated. I couldn't help but pay attention to the clashes at the top of the tower and out of the corner of my eye, the smallest red-figure slowly reach the very top. Seconds later everything flashed white before everyone's eyes.

I decided to stay with Ruby and Yang after the Fall of Beacon, I knew Tai said I was always welcome to stay whenever my dad was away for missions. Especially after what happened, it would be best for Yang and for Ruby to have a little more support after the fall of the school and the loss of our friends. Yet, Ruby had no idea about her special eyes. We don't need more surprises after these recent days.

I along with Tai took care of Yang for some time now but today went I went to check up on Yang, I saw a familiar annoying birdy in Ruby's room while she was sleeping. There sat Qrow. I leaned on the doorframe of her room and crossed my arms "Long time no see drunken sailor" I said in a hushed voice to not wake Ruby up. Qrow jumped a little and then smiled at me "Oh! Hey, long time no see (Y/N). How've you and your dad been? Wait? Why are you even here?!" He mentioned as I could just smell the alcohol off of him. "Dad's off on a mission and I had no place to be so, now I'm here. You know looking after Yang to make sure she's okay too." Qrow looked down, grinned then chuckled "You got a good heart kiddo. Don't change that." I replied with a smile, raised my hand signaling a goodbye and made my way to Yang's room.

Yang was awake already, sitting up and staring out the window just like every other day. I creaked the door open a little, I peeked my head in. "How are you doing Yang?" I said as I slowly entered the room she was in. She didn't respond so I decided to turn back to the door, just before leaving Yang spoke "Y/N." I turned back and smiled, I sat next to her on the bed as he finally faced me. To break the silence I asked Yang "Anything on your mind you wanna talk about?" She looked down and sighed "We've lost everything, the school, Penny, Pyrrha and I lost part of me. And I don't even know where Blake is! She just ran!" She got angrier as she explained, then turned to look at the window again. I let out a long sigh "You may have lost what you think is everything, but hey you are still here and I'm glad you are! You've come this far and I'm proud of you for pushing on, and wherever Blake may be right now...I'm positive that she doesn't go a single day without thinking of you." I put my hand on Yang's shoulder and she turned back to me "Thank you so much (Y/N). It means a lot." I hugged her as her awoken sister came in to see her.

Ruby, the remaining members of Team JNPR, and I ventured out to hopefully stop whoever caused our school to come crashing down and go to hell. Tai agreed to look after Yang while I left with Ruby. Then all five of us, Nora, Ren, Jaune, Ruby, and I made our way down the gravel path of the forest not knowing where the future would take us.
