Chapter 2: Your Amber Eyes Gazing at Mine

(Timeskip): You are trying to battle between you and team RNJR vs. Tyrian

Tyrian turns and swings his stinger to knock Ruby into the air. She flies back several feet, as he rushes forward to meet her before she lands. While Ruby was still in mid-air, he kicked her right in the abdomen, causing a large red shimmer near where she got hit.

I regained my breath and activated my semblance to teleport behind where Tyrian landed. He didn't notice I was there so I grinned at Nora and Ren who both were too tired out from Tyrian's quick reflexes. I knocked him clean off his feet and I still managed to swiftly catch to Rwby who was moments away from hitting the stone floor.

But Tyrian slammed me into one of the buildings and hurling me out of his way to get to the helpless Ruby kneeling on the broken stone pathway. Tyrian chuckled in a psychotic way towards me "Not so cocky now huh little N/N?!" I could hear his laugh as I brushed off the ruble that I was covered in. I was still weak from impact, my knees were so weak I couldn't stand upright.

The next minute he was standing right in front of me. "You aren't going to take my friend anywhere." I talked back with a horse voice. He was almost impressed but then spat back at me "Oh dear sweet (Y/N) that's not up to me is it. I can't disgrace our beloved queen now, can I?" Before I could even say another word Tyrian thrashed his stinger at my face. I thought I could dodge it with my shakey reflexes but he managed to gash a deep cut into the right side of my face.

I gasped in pain and he turned and stepped towards Ruby. I touched my face in disbelief. Purple blood now stained my hand. That bitch poisoned me.

But from the distance, an incoming crow turns into Qrow Brandwein. who keeps running forward after landing.

Nora, Ren, Jaune, and even your watch in horror, and Tyrian raises his stinger at Ruby. Right before Tyrian struck Ruby, Qrow inserted himself right in between them, holding his weapon behind his back. I can hear metallic noise echo through as Tyrian's stinger clips into the blade. I saw that Qrow and Ruby then made eye contact with each other and smile. "Hey." He turns to me asking "You good N/N?" Wow, he actually cared. I gave him a limp thumbs up. This outta be good.

(Timeskip): You and the gang find out about the Maidens, the Relics, the Gods, etc. You and Qrow both get treated for your cuts of poison, you guys all enter at Mistral at the moment.

"The City of Mistral..." I say in awe at the sight of the beautiful city. "Ugh! IT'S ABOUT TIME!" screened Nora.

We all walk through the gorgeously illuminated tunnel entering Mistral. "Whose idea was it to walk again?" Someone says to which someone else replied "Yeah, we did face many obstacles, broken airships destroyed the settlements..." Qrow's head sank a little and said "Oh, and you know, all those people and monsters that tried to murder us," He didn't add the cheery mood at all, what a sad sack!

"Pfft! We're fine." Ruby looks at Qrow with a cute smile, this made me smile a little too, "Only one of us almost died, and one of us has a little damage! Ahem Y/N" I giggled at her comment then punch her arm lightly, as Qrow looks at both of us, he miles back "Hey."

(Timeskip): Qrow and even you sassed and explained to Lionheart about the Spring Maiden and the Relic at Haven. Of course, Lionheart wasn't much help so you and Team RNJR are at the house while Qrow went to go off drinking after that encounter.

(Third Person)

Qrow sits at a bar, alone, looking down at his half-drunken drink. A young fourteen-year-old boy walks in. Light brown hair, hazel-amber eyes, freckles, he was wearing a white collared shirt, patched khakis, and orange suspenders, this boy's name was Oscar. The young boy approaches Qrow from behind, "Excuse me." He says in a shy tone of voice.
