~Oikawa's pov~

Even after a few hours of being home with my dad, I still felt the bruises forming all over my body, except for my face. My dad was fuming at this point. "What the hell is happening to your soulmate!?"

"I have no idea, they said it was a more in-person conversation, they wanted to tell me themselves." "I just want it to stop!" My voice broke on the last part and I clung to my dad crying my eyes out. I eventually fell asleep on his lap, but even then it was a restless sleep.

I woke up a few hours later, I realized that I was in my own bed with the blankets on top of me. I felt my wrist tickle a little, I shot straight up in my bed and checked to see what they wrote.

Hey, I'm sorry about all of that, do you want to meet up sometime between now and 5 in the afternoon?" "I know this is really sudden and it's really early in the day, but this is the only time I can go without getting in trouble.

I basically jumped out of my bed and grabbed the closest marker possible and began to write a response.

Of course! Where do you want to meet? I live close to Aoba Johsai, I'm sure we could meet somewhere in the middle of wherever you live!

It didn't take that long for them to respond after I sent my message.

I live in Miyagi, so I guess it's farther than I thought, but maybe somewhere in the middle. I'm not really familiar with Aoba Johsai, I know some senpais that graduated from my middle school Kitagawa First a couple of years ago that went there to play volleyball. I'm still at that same middle school, if you know where that is, then that's where I'm at.

The handwriting was really shakey, and I almost couldn't read it at certain places. But I got the gist of it. Wait a minute Kitagawa First!? Could this be one of the first years when I was a third-year? Wait a minute Kunimi and Kindaichi said they are going to go here once they graduate. I don't think the others are going to keep playing after junior high. Except for Tobio....

~No pov~

Oikawa's body ran cold as realization coursed through his veins. He realized that Kageyama could be his soulmate. Oikawa immediately bursted into tears since he had been ridiculously mean to him during his third-year of junior high. Oikawa's dad came running into the room once he heard Oikawa crying. His dad hugged Oikawa tightly and was trying to calm his son down.

He repeatedly kept asking him what was wrong, but this resulted in Oikawa sobbing even harder. Oikawa eventually calmed down after what seemed like forever, Oikawa sat up and wiped the rest of his tears away. "I think I know who my soulmate is, they asked me to meet up with them and they live in Miyagi. I was wondering if you could-"

"Drive you there right?" His dad sighed "Yes I'll drive you, but you have to promise me to try and figure out where all those bruises are coming from."

Oikawa nodded eagerly and grabbed a marker to reply to his soulmate....

~Kageyama's pov~

When I didn't get a response, I just sat back down on my bed with my head in my hands. I honestly didn't know what to do at this point. Either they all of a sudden lost interest in me, which I wouldn't blame them if they did, or they got caught up in something else and don't have time to respond.
