5- Valentines Day

A/N: Hey guys, sorry I've been inactive lately. Things have been hard for me recently, i've been low on motivation and such but anyways I hope ya'll enjoy this one shot. (P.s Sorry if it's not all that god, i'm having doubts on if I should continue this series or not.)

Ethan's POV

Today's valentines day which means I have to make today the best for Y/n. Y/n and I have been together for a couple years now and ever since we've gotten together, it's always been my goal to make every valentine more special than the last. Last valentines day I treated them to a romantic dinner and took them to do their favorite things. I want to go all out this year but there's only so much I can do that would be considered 'unique', but unique doesn't matter with Y/n. They'll love what I do for them no matter what. 

I was in bed with Y/n, I held them close to me with their head against my chest as I pet their head and ran my fingers through hair. I can't wait for Y/n to wake up so I can surprise them with today. I hope they think this is better than last year. 

I remember when Y/n and I first met. We met each other when we were with our friend groups. I was with Mark and the guys as Y/n was with their group of friends. The guys and I just happened to be out when I came across Y/n's friend group and I don't know what it was about them that just caught my eye but I'm glad I took a glance at them. Our eyes met and it was love at first site and if it weren't for Mark who encouraged me to go up to them and say something then I don't think Y/n and I would be together. As I reminisced on the memories, Y/n started to wake up.

"Mmm..."

"Good morning, baby." I kissed their head. 

"Good morning, love." 

"Happy valentines day, Y/n. I love you."

"Happy valentines day, Eef. I love you too." They snuggled up closer to me. 

"You ready to get up?"

"Nu-uh."

"I know you don't wanna get up but I have a surprise for you, baby."

"Mmm... Ok, i'll get up. Where's the surprise at?"

"If you get up and get ready, you'll see."

Y/n nodded as they sat up. 

Time skip to when Y/n and Eef are ready  

As Y/n and I were ready, we left to their special surprise which we weren't far from. As we got to the place, a happy and joyful expression grew on Y/n's face.

"Awww, babe, this is where we had out first date!" 

"Yeah, it is. This is just the first part of your surprise." 

-Y/n and Eef have a lunch date where they had their first date-

"I loved that, thank you." Y/n told me. 

"Anything for you, love."

From where we had our first date we went to the beach we had our first picnic along with traveling to various other locations that hold important memories. 

"Ethan?"

"Yes, Y/n?"

"I love you. This is the best valentines day i've ever had." Y/n told me as a smile grew across their face. 

"You say that every year, lovey." I put my hands on Y/n's hips and brought them close to me as they put their arms around my neck.

"Because every year is better than the last, Ethan. I appreciate that every year you come up with something new rather than just giving me chocolate and a card."

"I'd do anything to make every valentines day more special than the last, only for you my love."

Our lips met each other as we held one another. Y/n's lips are so soft and fit perfectly with mine, I don't want to pull away but I have to considering we're in public. I pulled away from them as they did from me. 

"I can't wait for the day I become Mr/Mrs. Y/n Nestor-Darling ."

"Well, love, that just might be next valentines day or maybe even sooner." They smiled as our lips met once more for a quick kiss and that was our valentines day,
