(smut warning)

It has been almost a month since I've talked to Draco. It hasn't been horrible, but it also hasn't been the best experience. I can feel him glaring at me when I'm in the same room as him, and looking away when I notice. I sometimes wonder if he wants to talk to me, or if it's easy for him to ignore my existence.

No, if it were easy then he wouldn't constantly stare. Even now, sitting in the common room, I can feel his burning gaze on the back of my neck.

The twins haven't mentioned anything about Draco ever since he insulted them. They just act like it never happened. By now, they probably don't even care, that is, if they even cared in the first place.

At lunch, I have either been sitting by the twins, Leila, or Luna so I don't have to be around Draco. In other words, I have been avoiding him and his friends as much as possible. I don't want to have to deal with their teasing comments.

He doesn't sit beside me in any of our classes anymore either. He missed the first day of classes after our little argument, but after that, he came to all of them. The only difference in him being his obvious attempt to ignore me.

Even now, when he walks into the class I can feel him glare at me for a short second before choosing to sit in the furthest seat away from me. Why was he the one that was mad anyway? I'm the one that should be mad, and I am, but I did nothing to make him mad at me.

It's a constant cycle of doing the same thing every day: wake up, eat, go to classes, avoid Draco, eat again, go to sleep, and then repeat. It's getting quite boring and repetitive to say the least.

It's Saturday afternoon now, and there's supposed to be a party in the Slytherin common room later. Everyone's invited; all houses. I have no idea who came up with the idea, but I don't care, I'm going to go either way- I need a distraction and it could take my mind off of Draco, even if it is only for a little while.

It's almost time for dinner, so I start walking to the Great hall. The halls flood with students that have the subject of food and partying on their minds.

When I arrive to the Great hall and see that the twins, Ron, Hermione, and Harry are already there, so I go to sit with them. "Hey guys," I announce to them all. "Hey Ivy." They all reply back, almost in unison. "Are you guys going to the Slytherin party tonight?" I load my plate with food as I wait for an answer.

Harry, Ron, and Hermione all say no, as expected. They never go to any of the parties. They always stay in their dorms, probably planning the next thing they will do that will almost kill them.

I look over at the twins. "Will you be there?" They ask at the same time, both having a smirk painted on their face. "Of course I will be there, why wouldn't I be?" I return the smirk they gave me. This will be the first party that I'll get the chance to go to since they don't let anyone under fourth year come. I will admit, I am excited.

I eat the rest of my dinner as we talk about the party. It's going to be the first party at Hogwarts since last year, and we all know it will be the best. Especially since it's a Slytherin party. I try to convince Ron, Hermione, and Harry to come, but they just keep saying they have other things to do. I'm sure that whatever they're doing is just as dangerous, if not more.

I realize that I need to get ready for the party after finishing my dinner, so I say my goodbyes to everyone and get up to make my way back to my dorm. I wouldn't normally take so much time to get ready for a party, but let's just say that Slytherin parties are known for their class and over-the-top outfits.

I get to my dorm and see that Leila and Pansy are already there getting ready for the party. They are both just starting to do their hair and makeup.
