em...i wasn't gonna post this today but it's sorta my birthday so here's my birthday gift to you guys.  thank you so so much for everything you've done for me<3

Sunday, February 7th

After streaming and talking to her friends for a few days straight, Alice completely crashed.  It had been eleven days since the Jackbox stream and she'd never slept so many hours.

It got to the point where Wilbur thought she was genuinely sick.  He wouldn't stop worrying until Techno told him directly that she was okay.  Alice would be lying if she said she didn't appreciate how much he cared.

He had streamed in the time she took her break.  Alice had a suspicion he didn't think she'd ever see it because he never mentioned it.  It didn't matter though, she was still sent clips from it.

He spoke about Tommy being his best friend and Alice being his favorite person.  He spoke briefly about how close they had gotten and how much he enjoyed talking to her.  She couldn't help but grin like an idiot while she watched them.

Now, it was her birthday and Wilbur wasn't around.

"Happy birthday, birthday twin!" Sean yelled as she picked up the phone. She spent about half an hour answering all of her friends wishing her a happy birthday.

"Happy birthday," She chuckled. "How's your day been?"

"It's been great Allie, I've been dying to call you," He told her.

"Well, I appreciate not being woken up at four am this time," She said, referencing previous years.

"Hey, hey, no bullying. It's my birthday after all!"

"When has that ever been a rule," She scoffed.

"Since now," He decided. "And I also don't want you hanging up on me to talk to Wilbur. I don't care if he's your best friend, you were my best friend first."

"No need to worry, he's busy today," She informed him while she picked at her nails.

"On your birthday? What's he doing?" His tone sounded strange.

"Work and stuff, he didn't really specify but he was really sorry about it," She told him.

"Awe that sucks," Sean sighed. "What're you gonna do today?"

"Corpse said we'd be hanging out, so I guess that's what I'll be doing."

"You lucky twat," He muttered.

"No bullying!" She mocked his accent.

"Alright, I'm heading out to meet Corpse," She called to Techno. After having a long chat with Sean, they hadn't had a normal conversation in a while, she spent the rest of the morning with her roommate.

"Be careful," He said from the living room.

"Always," She replied before leaving and getting in her car.

As she drove downtown, she got held up in traffic frequently. With nothing to do but wait, her mind would drift to Wilbur. She knew he was busy with things like recording with Tommy and making music.  She couldn't help but be the slightest bit angry.
