"Ajay, wait up!" I hear Elliot yell behind me. His footsteps echoed throughout the hallway as he tried to catch up to me. I spin around with my hands sitting on my hips.

"And who are ya to tell me what to do?" I roll my eyes as the second biggest idiot ever tries to catch his breath. You would think Elliot would be in better shape due to the games, but it seems his late nights at Paradise Lounge are catching up to him.

"Just in case you haven't realized, I'm Octavio's other best friend," he states in a matter-of-fact tone.

"So ya gonna stop me from scolding him? Ya know he deserves it after how he has been acting lately! He has been treating us like shit and it's taking a toll on Natalie!" I growl out. He throws his hands up in defense and takes a slight step back.

"Sheesh, I know, I know. You don't gotta yell grumpy pants," Elliot mumbles. I shoot him a glare, making him straighten up right away.

"Listen, Ajay, you're not his mom! Oct is a grown man who can think for himself. He doesn't need you correcting his every move," he sighs. My fists clench by my side as I feel my blood start to boil. The nerve of this fool!

"Listen, ya bastard!" I grab his shirt collar and push him against the wall. "I've known O my entire life! We grew up, ate, and played as children and learned to fight together as teenagers. We taught each other everything we know! And ya know why? Because we are the only family we have! Our parents are don't give a fuck about us, they only care about where to get their next paycheck! Ya say I'm acting like his mom? So what?! Someone has to take that place and guide him when he doesn't have one! Consider that next time before ya open ya big mouth!"

I shove him aside and storm off down the hall towards Silva's room. Who does Witt think he is lecturing? It's always been me and O, brother and sister for life! Obviously I know what's best for him, right?

I finally reach my destination and swing open the door. I need to have another chat with that idiot about locking his front door, it's a safety hazard to both him and Natalie.

"Silva, it's me. Ya up yet?" I yell as I walk into the living space. There are pillows scattered everywhere. An empty bowl sat on its side on the floor with a couple of pieces of popcorn scattered around. The rest of the room was pretty much spotless, weird. Silva is never this neat.

I shake off the thought and enter his pigsty of a room to find an empty bed. That idiot better not have stayed out all night again. He needs to realize how his pity party is affecting everyone, especially Natalie. When she filled me in on what was happening and how she felt, I was filled with rage. A 24-year-old man should act more mature than he is! The guy is blind and can't see how disappointed Nat has been. She may have only known O for a short amount of time, but it's obvious she deeply cares for him.

I walk out of his room with a sigh, disappointment doesn't begin to describe what I am feeling towards him. I decided to check on Nat before leaving to make sure she is feeling okay. I softly knock on the door to her bedroom.

"Natalie, are ya awake, hun?" I hear footsteps quietly approach the door and it is softly pulled open. My jaw drops as soon as I'm met with the person on the other side. It is not Natalie I see, but a shirtless Octavio!

"Buenos Dias, Che," he yawns underneath his mask, "Is everything okay?"

"What the fuck?!"

Octane

"Ow, ow, ow, ow! Qué demonios hermana?!" I yell as I'm being dragged out of the room by my ear. One moment I was having the best sleep of my life and the next there's an angry Che in our apartment!
