Aera laughed as she read the conversation with her bestfriends. She sighed in content knowing that they were safe and away from all the harm. Just like that she was lost in her own thoughts again.

There was knock on her door. Her head immediately turned to the door. "The door's open, come in," she shouted while sitting on her bed. A head peeked in. "Hey, what's up?" she saw the leader. "Oh Taeyong, please come in," she said and continued, "what's up?" He chuckled lightly and said, "I asked you the same though but okay, I just came to check in." "Ohh, don't worry I'm doing good," she retorted and flashed a smile. Taeyong ruffled her hair and said, "Hope the boys are not annoying you."

"Not at all, they are fun to be with. You know I missed my family in the initial days but it faded away a few days later. They warmed up to me and even I opened up to them which honestly happens rarely but it did happen. It's like I gained a family. And to be honest it doesn't even feel like I'm with a powerful mafia gang," she said warmly. Taeyong felt a sense of relief. He felt bad for the younger girl who was dragged into this world.

"You can always come to me if you need anything Aera, I'll be there for you," Taeyong said and ruffled the younger girl's hair. Aera felt the warmth that was radiating through his words. A genuine smile flashed on her face as she replied, "I know, and I am super thankful. I never had an older brother but I guess I have one now." She got up and gave a bear hug to the elder one. He chuckled at her actions and returned her gesture.
