Chapter 10

Adam's POV

When I finished the plan for the real fuzzy guy, I walked down the hallway towards the door where I kept my children. I have to tell them I'm their dad and not the evil fuzzy guy even though I'm trapped in his body. I sighed as I opened the door and I saw Haley and Zane huddled in a corner. Haley looked at me and hid behind her brother.

"Haley it's me," I said, "it's your daddy."

"No you're not!" She exclaimed

"Yes. Yes I am," I told her, "Haley Rebecca Young, you're a sweet and caring little girl. Your birthday is June fifteen and you hate spiders..."

I went on about what she likes and doesn't like and who's personality she has out of Brielle and I. I stopped talking when she burst into tears and hugged me. A warm feeling came over me as I hugged her back. Zane hugged me too and I looked at myself. The twig-like yellow arms were shimmering and turning into my human arms. A smile spread across my face as a golden light filled my vision. The light went away and I looked at myself. I was back in my normal form.

"Yes!" I exclaimed as I shot to my feet

"Daddy you don't have any clothes on," Haley said with her back turned to me.

I looked down and I realized she was right. Zane threw me pants, a shirt and boxers. Once I was dressed, Haley turned around and looked at me. I smiled and she hugged me again. I picked her up and she was crying.

"S-so for my whole life y-your enemy was my dad?" Haley asked with fear in her voice.

I frowned. "Yeah. And I'm so so sorry for kidnaping you," I said as we walked out of the room.

Haley wriggled out of my grasp and my kids looked at me. They asked about the fuzzy guy. I told them I have a plan. Zane and Haley smiled and asked if they could help. I smiled and told them they could. Then we went into a small room with a table and I told them about the plan on how to defeat the fuzzy guy.
