Time passed since Yohan and Hyunjin made their promise and Yohan really did try his best, he made a little progress almost every time he saw Hyunjin, but it did take him a long time to see the boy without thinking about the past but he got there no matter how hard it was, and although he felt ready to begin his friendship with Hyunjin he wasn't really sure how to do just that, how does one start a friendship?

Jisung was the one who approached him so it wasn't that hard for them to become friends but he also knew he needed to make the move for his and Hyunjin's friendship to work because he needed to reassure the boy that he was ready for this step.

He arrived at practice a little late and saw that most of the team was already there, today he was on his own since Felix had set Jisung up on a blind date with a senior from the dance department.

He quickly made his way in and apologized for being late, he started getting everything ready and to his surprise, Hyunjin came over and helped him.

"Jisung isn't here today right?" Yohan nodded a little, still a bit surprised.

"Then I'll help~"

"Thank you"

The two quickly set everything up and Hyunjin returned to practice, Chan and Coach Kang smiled as they observed the two, Chan smiled because both were usually extremely cold to others but lately it seemed like the two got along well and it made him feel happy, and for Coach Kang, knowing the history between the two he couldn't help but feel a little proud at the progress the two had made.

When practice was over Hyunjin stayed behind and helped clean up after practice ended.

"Uh hey Hyunjin" Yohan spoke up.

"Hmm," the boy hummed as he was packing away the mop they used earlier.

"Do you maybe want to uhm join me for dinner?" Hyunjin spun around almost falling over his own feet, he looked at Yohan who looked slightly nervous about what he just asked, he started smiling and nodded.

"I would love to~," Hyunjin said.

"Cool," Yohan said and ran off towards his dad, explaining to him that he won't be going home immediately, and the older man laughed and nodded, he was happy that his son was taking the needed steps to move forward.

When the two finished they said their goodbyes and went to a small hotpot place that was close to the university.

They got their seats and ordered their food, they sat in silence for a bit before Yohan finally spoke up.

"Do you know why I invited you?" Hyunjin looked like he was thinking for a bit.

"Because I helped you out in Jisung's place today?" Hyunjin asked but Yohan shook his head.

"Hyunjin... uhm I want us to restart everything," Yohan said and Hyunjin looked at him a little shocked.

"Wait really? Like you aren't joking right?????" Hyunjin asked as his smile just kept growing endlessly.

"I'm serious, I have been feeling a lot better for a while now but I wanted to be 100% sure, and then I had to figure out how to approach you and tell you this"

Hyunjin jumped up and went over to Yohan and pulled the boy to his feet before he pulled him into a tight hug. Yohan smiled and hugged the boy back, 'this is really nice' he thought to himself.

The two went back to their seats and both just kept smiling from happiness.

"So now I can freely talk to you and hang out right?" Hyunjin asked with a huge smile.

"Yep~"

"Yay," Hyunjin said while clapping his hands excitedly, Yohan couldn't help but laugh.

'Was he always this cute?' Yohan thought to himself as he watched the boy.
