Practice [1]

Laura's POV

Koharu and I were bringing some paperwork from the library to the Admins office, as we arrived we placed the papers on the table and took a seat catching our breaths.
"This is a lot of work to do.." I said as Koharu smiled
"It is our job to do as Admins, there's nothing we can do but to work on it" Koharu said, I sighed as I looked outside the window
"S4 and M4 start practicing today, I wonder if they're okay" I said as I thought about S4 and M4's announcement of a joint concert or rather a collab. Koharu giggled
"I'm sure they'll be fine" she said as she looked outside the window.

Nozomu's POV

We were changing into our track suit for our practice. After that, we stepped outside of M4's private dorm and felt the early morning cold air. We did a few stretches for a few minutes then Subaru looked at us
"We'll jog our way to the Girls Division, then we'll run 5 laps around the whole campus, then we'll do a few push-ups and crunches for our warm-up" he said as Asahi whined
"Eehh, that's too much for a warm-up!" he complained
"We have to, we're gonna be practicing the whole day and we'll need to build up our stamina and energy in preparation for the concert" he explained as Asahi slumped and Subaru turned forward
"Let's go!" he yelled out as we nodded
"Okay!" and with that, we started jogging.

We were half way to the Girls Division but Subaru doesn't seem to be slowing down. Asahi panted as he called
"Subaru-kun! Can't we slow down a bit?" he asked, Subaru glanced to his back
"We'll slow down once we're close. Step it up or I'll leave you behind!"
"Eehhh??"
Subaru continued his pace as Asahi breathed out.

"Urgh, I feel like I'm living my days as M4's new member all over again!" Asahi groaned
"That's to be expected. This is a big concert that our fans are excited about and as M4's leader he wouldn't want to disappoint them. He also wants us to do our best for them and help build our stamina and energy that could last us for the whole concert" Kanata explained calmly
"But, he's being scary again. Like the demon leader he was! And where the heck does he get that energy? I can't even run this early!" Asahi complained as I laughed
"That's what you'd expect from the leader of M4. Always doing his best! We can't lose to him!" I said as Asahi sighed
"Well, I guess you're right" Asahi said as he grinned and the three of us picked the pace to catch up to Subaru.

Yume's POV

I zipped up my track suit and looked at my members
"Let's get going, M4 should be waiting for us" I said as we all nodded and headed out to the bridge that separates the Girls and Boys Division. We arrived to see 4 figures standing by the bridge, I waved my hand to them

"Oi! Good morni- eh? What happened?" I asked surprised to see M4 out of breath, well, Asahi looks to be in a much worse state than the others
"We were... jogging our.. way.. here..." Nozomu said in between breaths as Kanata nodded in agreement. Asahi looks like he's in pain
"Are you okay Asahi-kun?" Luka asked as Asahi held on to Luka
"Help.. demon.. demon..!" he yelled out as Subaru sighed

"Are you gonna join us?" he asked me
"Join you?" I ask back as Nozomu smiled
"After this, we're gonna run 5 laps around the campus then we'll do a few push-ups and crunches" Nozomu said
"For a warm-up" Kanata added as our eyes widened
"All that for a warm-up?" Ako asked as Kanata nodded at her. I was silent from shock but Subaru kept his eyes on me
"So are you joining us or not?" he asked again, I thought for a while until I decided

"Sure, we'll join you!" I said as everyone stiffened
"H-hold up, Yume are you sure?" Mahiru asked
"Yeah! We can't lose to them, we've gotta do our best too!" I said as I held a fist and Subaru smirked as he put a hand on my head
"At least you get it" he said with a smile as I felt my cheeks heat up. He pulled away as he turned to his members
"Come on, get up! We'll be going!" he said as Asahi whimpered and clung to Mahiru
