Our past

This chapter has more than 1 flashback, please forgive me

Suzuki's POV

"What was Subaru like when he was younger?" Nozomu asked, I out my index finger on my chin looking up above thinking, I glanced at Subaru to see if I can say something about his past self, he gave me a nervous look

"Hm... I can't put a word to it, we've only been with each other for 3 years" I stated
"It's okay, we wanna know. Even though you weren't with each other very long" Asahi said, I was thinking again, until I found something to say,
"Well... All I can say is, he was a good boy, and was a fast learner" I said to them,
"Really?" Asahi said, I nodded
"Even though we've been with each other for 3 years, a lot has happened" I said taking another bite of sushi
"How did you become friends with Subaru-kun?" Kanata asked
"Well... Both our parents were long time friends. My parents got married first then Subaru's parents got married." I explained, Subaru looked shock from the made up back story. The truth is, when our parents got married, few years later I was born, then 6 years later, Subaru was born.

"Years later, I was born, my family always visited Subaru's parents or vice versa, we were neighbors. When the day came where Subaru was born, my parents told me to take care of him while his parents and my parents are at work, so I always visited his house to play with him"

*Flashback*

Third Person's POV

Suzuki was waiting patiently for her parents to come back, she was listening to music on the living room but paused the music when she heard the front door creak open
"Suzuki! We're home!" she heard her Father's voice from the front door, she glanced at the door, seeing both her parents removing their shoes to get inside
"Welcome home, Mom and Dad!" she greeted them, her Father smiled at her and went inside to sit at the sofa, she noticed her Mother holding something in her arms, she realized what it is
"Mom, is that my baby brother?" she asked
"Yep!" her Mother replied, she took a peek at her brother's face, 'He's so cute!' she thought

"Can I carry him?"
"Sure" her Mother handed over the baby boy to her daughter,
"Be careful" her Mother said as Suzuki held the baby in her arms
"He's so cute!" she exclaimed quietly
"What's his name?"
"His name? Subaru" her Mother answered happily
"Subaru..." Suzuki muttered to herself, 'What a lovely name!' she thought
"Suzuki. Could you bring him to his room?" her Mother asked
"Okay" Suzuki replied, she directly ran, well not so fast, up the stairs
"Be careful, he's asleep"
"Yes, Mom"  after what her Mother said, she slowed down her running to a walking. In the middle of her walk upstairs, her Father said something aloud
"Guess what!"
"Huh?"
"Ever since he went out of the nursery, he never said a single word because he's asleep, we don't know what his first word will be" her Father stated, she didn't know what to say so she went on walking.
