I had about 5 seconds to review the situation before i had to begin 'directing'

im a 13 year old child who has never had any authority in her life why the hell was i being trusted with this

Chris - Hey allie, i know youve been thrown in at the deep end here but all you have to do is direct the scene and cameras how you want them. Its actually really easy

I glanced at my notebook for a bit of guidance and tried to go down the list and check off what i thought needed changing

first, talk to Tom

Ok, maybe the worst part

Allie - Erm Tom, can i talk to you for a second

Tom - Ye sure

Allie - I loved your acting in this bit i really want to feel Draco's desperation this is Draco's big moment, he is taking back honour for his family

Tom - erm- ye sure

He walked back to his starting position and whispered to Helena

Tom - this kids good

I began talking to the rest of the cast, giving them pointers on how to make the scene more powerful. You could sense how excited everyone was to start

I hated how the cameras were set up before, they were in a sort of fly on the wall position, which i personally hated in movies. i wanted them more in the action

i walked over to chris

Allie - so do i shout action or-

Chris - Director shouts action, all you

Shit

Ok

Allie - alright Action!

the scene began and the tension grew Tom really took my notes on the desperateness of draco in this scene. The scene carried on, you could hear everyone behind the camera holding their breath, it was so powerful.

The tension grew and grew until finally Alan said those words

i had told him how i really wanted him to say it with force, but like he just wanted it over with

alan - Avada Kedavra

The death eaters ran down the stairs and stopped

The scene was over

No one dared move, or even breathe

You could hear a pindrop.

A single clap broke the silence, followed by more, then more, until all you could hear was clapping and cheering, but who were they clapping?

Me

All i could see was a sea of happy faces all smiling and clapping ferociously. All so happy

Chris - Alright everyone that a wrap for today we'll see you all tomorrow

Everyone headed off set congratulating me as they went

I had actually done it

Chris came bounding over to me as i collected my things

Chris - Oh Allie, that was amazing, you did amazing

Allie - I- erm- thankyou

Chris - come on ill see you out

I arrived back at the trailers

Shit. who the hell was going to give me a lift back to the hotel

a person i hadn't seen before ran over to me

- yes she's just getting her makeup taken off follow me

I walked into a caravan that was covered in makeup and mirrors and lights, it felt like i was stepping onto a west end stage
Helena - Ahh here's my little director friends
Allie - Hi i'm allie
She grabbed me into a big bear hug. She smelt of cinnamon and flowers, I melted into her arms. I felt home
she sat down and began wiping her bellatrix makeup off, i could tell she was beautiful
She talked with some people in the makeup trailer and i just gawked at her
Her laugh lit up the room as she wheezed at what the makeup lady said
Helena - So Allie, tell me where are you from
I wasn't thinking straight. I was sort of in a trance. I wasn't thinking

SHIT

Allie - oh i live with my mum in south london

she looked at me sternly
i started peeling the tape off my arm because i was nervous
