* Ring Ring *

"Hello?" I talked half asleep. 

["Sir did you forget?."] The girl's voice is familiar. Suddenly I realized that Sapphire had called me million times. 

"Fuck." I said and accidentally ended the call. 

Why did my secretary wake her own boss? I'm the CEO it's fine to be late. I was having a bath when Sapphire again called.

"What now? I'm the CEO of that company you don't have to tell me .."

["Sir, you have an appointment with your partners."] She said panicking because the visitors are already waiting for me.

"What the fuck! Okay i'll be there in a mins." I said and ended the call.

When I arrived at the office Sapphire is panicking. But she still manage to entertain my business partners. I entered the meeting room Sapphire is discussing about something. I nodded at her to tell her to continue.

The meeting went smooth and some parts are discussed by my secretary. I called sapphire to my office. 

"Yes Sir Cliffton?" She asked standing in front of me looking good.

Fuck what am I even thinking.

I was about to get the sketch when someone call. I checked if its's mine but it's not. It's Sapphires phone.

"Go ahead and answer it." I said coldly as I pretend to read some  document's. 

"Sorry Sir." She said and answered the call.

It's been an hour but she didn't came back. It's already dark when I decided to go to her office. The light's are off which is new. I was about to enter but one of my employees talked.

"Hmm Sir Lance.." I looked at her.

"What?" I coldly asked. She bowed her head.

"Hmm Sir umuwi na po si Phire." She said. I nodded but deep in my heart I am asking why.

Why did she left without telling me?  Fuck!

I search some files just to know her address. I just want to return the sketch book. I also want to treat her a dinner as a thank you. She did well at the meeting if she's not there the meeting will be cancelled and my father will again tell me how useless I am. Tell me how Stupid I am. I was trying to figure out where am I when Andrey suddenly called.

["Where are you?"] He asked.

"I'm driving."

["To where"] He asked again.

"Non of your business." I said ending the call. But then again Sebastian call. I don't have a choice but  to answer.

"What?" I asked.

["San ka nga kasi pupunta."'] He asked, guessing that they are all together.

"Sa bahay nila Sapphire." mahina kong sagot pero narinig parin nya.

["Bro is that you? You don't put effort in anything."] Pagsingit ni Dave.

"It's about the company nothing else.Bye." I said and ended the call.

I've been driving but I am not sure where I am. There is a girl who is walking holding some groceries. Muntik ko na syang masagasaan dahil hindi sya nakatingin sa tinatawidan niya. bumusina ako para tumabi sya.

Fuck. What a crazy lady.

I was surprised when the woman look at me eye to eye. She's crying, I don't know why I felt something is stabbing my heart, it hurts seeing her cry, seeing Sapphire once again cry. It happens so fast that I didn't even notice that I run out of the car.

"Get in the car." I said and helped her carry her things.

She did what I said. She said she's okay but I can see that she's not that okay.

"Sir pwede na po dito.Salamat po." She said wipping her tear. 

"No." I said. I am not letting her walk by herself. Napilitan syang sabihin kung saan sya naka tira.

"Sir baba na po ako." sabi niya ng maka rating na kami sa bahay nia. I locked the door. Without looking at her I asked her..

"What happened?" I asked still not looking but I can see that she's again crying.

"My mom got hospitalized. Her illness got worse than I thought. I thought everything will be okay. I thought my mother is getting better but I was wrong. She's just pretending that she's okay." She said sobbing so hard. I give her a tissue. "Thank you."

"I'm sorry." I whispered and unlocked the door. I helped her carry her groceries.

"Putang ina mong bata ka! Anong oras na wala pa tayong ulam. Hindi kapa nagbabayad ng renta at tubing!" An old lady shouted and a girl who's around are age pulling Sapphires hair. I reacted so fast that I didn't notice I was holding the girl's hand. Napatingin sakinsi sapphire at ang kanina pa sigaw ng sigaw na ale.

"Sino tong lalaking to?" Tanong ng ale kay sapphire. Sapphire looked at me asking my permission if she can tell who I am.

"I'm Cliffton Lance Mendez. CEO of the company Mendez" I said giving them my business card. I saw the two looked amazed.

"Pasok ka iho." Biglang nag iba ang trato nila saakin. Eto ang ayaw ko, mga plastic. 

"No need." I coldly said and glance at Phire who is facing the floor I think she's ashamed because of the crazy ladies attitude.

 I assured her that It's all fine and ready to leave When I heard a slap sound.

"Lumayas ka dito!!" Napahinto ako sa narinig ko. Tinignan ko si sapphire na pinupulot ang mga damit niya sa sahig. I helped her.

"Nako Sir alis kana. Ako na po bahala dito." I didn't listen.

"What's wrong with that woman." I asked. She just give me an apologetic glance. "Who is that crazy woman by the way?" I asked again. I heard her sigh.

"Tita ko tas yung babae kanina na humila sa buhok ko pinsan ko." She explained. "Nakikitira lang ako kasi sa Pampangga  talaga kami nakatira." She answered calling someoneon her phone.  I just stand by her side.

"Hello lea" 

["ughhh yess Phire. Hey baby stop lets continue this later I'm on my phone you see. Ughhhh baby gentle.."]  heard her friend lea mouning because it's on loundspeaker.

Nan laki ang mata niya at tumingin saakin dahil narinig ko ang bestfriend niya.  I nodded and walk away but I don't want to leave her. Wala syang matutuluyan, ewan ko kung bakit pero ayaw ko syang iwan. Hindi ko ugali ang mangialam sa mga bagay at meron akong sariling mundo perosimula nung dumating sya may mga nararamdaman akong hindi ko naramdaman noon hindi ko maipaliwanag kung ano ito.

Nakita ko syang lumabas bitbit ang damit niya. Nagulat sya ng makita akong di pa umaalis. Alam kong wala syang matutuluyan ngayung gabi.  

"Staying at the hotel is a better option looks like your bestfriend is having fun with her man I'm going to pay for your hotel fee." I said and walk but I stoped when I noticed that she's not following me.

"Nako sir ayaw ko pong gumastos ka okay lang po ako." She said and star walking.

Fuck I can't watch you like this.

"Then stay at my place."
