Skid's problem

I'm scared...

(Its my birthday! Yayyy!)

"I'm scared Mom..." I said shakily
"Don't worry Skid... ill protect you.." My mom said
She said that... but i could tell she was as just as scared as i was. I hugged my mom tightly. I'm so scared for Pump, i hope he found a place to hide. Pump was my best friend, i don't want him to get hurt, i love him (platonic), he is my best friend-
*BANG*
I shot up
WHAT THE- PUMP?! PUMP!
I could hear the police sirens, there here! Thank god! It felt like i was waiting forever for them... my breathing was heavy yet i could barely breathe.. i was so worried...
"S-skid can you let me go- i can barely breathe-" My mom coughed
"Sorry mom.." I said as i gently let my mom go
I heard a car park outside and the door open... when the police arrived.. the whole thing was a blur
Why..why did a see a ambulance? Why was mom crying?

Pump? Where is Pump.. i couldn't see him anywhere, where is he?? Pump...
"PUMP!!" I shouted
My mom ran into the room. 
"Wh.. what?" Said my Mom
"WHERE IS PUMP??"  I asked, my mom could tell i was distressed
"I.. i'm sorry Skid.."
"W-what?? Why are you sorry... whats going on??" I said
"Pump.. is in the hospital.. he is alive but he has severe head injuries, there's a low chance of survival." My mom said quietly
My heart instantly sank, i couldn't believe what i was hearing.. shes lying! 
"Your lying! Pump is okay... pump is..."
i fell to the floor , i heard my mum call my name..
i passed out
