Years later

It's been years now since the last time I visited Saito and Grandma Minami, ever since that therapy lesson, it feels like something is blocking my mind, and I couldn't see them again.

Though I started the space out less and I did better in school, almost completely forgetting about them now.

I still think about them sometimes, but I can't dream about them again, all my dreams now are random and blurry, unlike the ones I used to have with Saito and Grandma.

I'm 14 now and I'm starting high school today, though I'm not too nervous because most people from my new high school came from my old middle school, even my best friend Layla is with me.

Well I should get ready for school now, I woke up a little early to dress cute today.

I picked out a dark blue sweater vest with a cute blue mini skirt, and matching butterfly earrings and necklace.

I looked at myself in the mirror, I look cute, but I really need to sort out my hair, I had long hair when I was younger but this year I decided to cut it to shoulder length.

I got ready and went downstairs to eat breakfast, I got some cereal and an avocado toast, I checked my phone and it was 8:30, school started at 9:00 but it will take 15 minutes to walk there.

"Bye mom, dad, gotta go!" I kissed them both on the cheek, grabbed my schoolbag and walked to school.

The area I live in has a lot of greenery, I looked up to the sky and smelled the fresh air, I'm excited to see my friends again!

"HEY!" I fell down to see I bumped into a boy my age, he had dark messy hair, and he was wearing a plain black t-shirt with baggy black jeans and a chain necklace to match.

"Sorry dude, I wasn't looking where I was going, but you should watch out too." I said normally. The guy looked kind of pissed at me.

"Whatever it's your fault anyways, now scram." He said coldly. The nerve of this guy, but I didn't want to be late to my first day so I glared at him and left.

"Finally your here!!!" Layla crushed me in a bear hug, I hugged her bag tightly.

"Haven't seen you in so long, god I miss you!" I laughed. I looked up to see her face again, she had wavy short brown hair and bright blue eyes, always so pretty.

We linked arms and walked in class to be greeted by our other friends, Nina and Mason, they are a couple.

"Hey girlies, you both had such a glow up!" Nina waved to us, she had curly ginger hair that reached her back and mesmerising brown eyes, I swear all my friends are so pretty.

"Hey Nina, you and your boyfriend are as cute as ever huh?" I teased them. Nina's boyfriend Mason hanged out with us a lot because of Nina, and honestly they are such a cute couple.

Mason had curly black hair and dark brown eyes, he looked at Nina in adoration as she laughed with Layla.

"Nina I'm gonna go talk to the guys now okay, see you guys in class!" Mason waved us goodbye and jogged to his friends.

"Guys, let's head to homeroom now, most of our class aren't new but we did hear that a transfer from Japan came." Layla looked at us. I think it might be the guy we bumped into earlier, since I haven't seen him before.

"Okay let's gooo!" Nina fist bumped the air and ran towards to classroom, she always have been super energetic.

"Well you heard the lady, race you there Layla!" I winked at her and started running too, my short black hair flopped behind me.

"HEY THAT'S NOT FAIR!!" I heard Layla scream behind me. The world isn't fair, too later suckers.

I got to the classroom door and panted, I reached my hand to open the door and another hand placed on mine.

I looked up, it was that guy again, ugh.

"Fine if you want to open the door like a gentleman that bad, I'll let you." I smirked at him and leaned against the door, he looked back and his eye was twitching. Huh weird dude.

He slammed the door open and I lost balance and started falling, I closed my eyes but there was no impact.

I opened up my eyes again to see that the guy caught me by my waist and he winked at me.

"Didn't know you were falling for me this fast darling." He chuckled. The audacity this man has.

"YOU JUST CAUGHT ME OFF GUARD, DON'T THINK YOU'RE SO SLICK YOU DUMBASS!" I flipped my hair in his face and sat down on a seat next to Nina.

I saw the guy sit in a seat infront of me, I can't see anything because of his big head.

Then finally my best friend Layla walked in and sat next to me.

"Oh my god Layla you won't believe what happened!" I complained to her. She chuckled and I was about to go on until the teacher came in.

"Hello class I am Cassidy Smith, I will be your homeroom teacher for this year, now please introduce yourself everyone." She said with a straight face, I don't think I'll like this teacher very much.

The day went on and the classes were tiring, I kept daydreaming, oh and I found out the guy's name is Saito, sounds familiar, he seems to be uptight with his studies and he is already getting popular with the girls, typical. Though he seems really rude to them, to everyone actually.

Thoughts about today ran through my head as I packed up and walked back home, I see a new neighbour moved in, the last one moved a few months ago.

I walked up to my room and put my thing down, finally the day is over. Where did I put my diary? I wanted to write about today.

I looked around my room, oh there it is, on my windowsill, I smiled and grabbed it.

I looked up to see a my new neighbour from their window, they were changing. AH THEY'RE CHANGING. Wait a second, I looked from their chiseled chest to their neck then face, isn't that Saito the new guy??

Just as I was looking at him he looked up and saw me staring, fuck this is awkward.

He blushed red and quickly put on a shirt, I was about to run away until I hear him open his window and shout.

"Wait Yona!" He shouted to me, I walked back and opened my window and shouted too.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to!" My face still as red as a tomato. He looked at me and a tear fell down his cheek, wait what?

"Yona please can I come over I need to talk to you." He shouted with a smile. Well this guy is bipolar.
