"Ummm, I don't know you well, my parents won't allow that." I said then closed my windows and curtains. What a weird guy, though his abs... I will admit he is dreamy, still weird though.
First day of school and it's already this crazy, maybe I should cheer myself up by reading some books.
Currently I'm reading this book called 'Dear Draco,' making me wonder if romance in books like this really do exist. Well who am I kidding, who would be my love interest, Saito? Fuck no.
I lied down in my bed thinking about the bitter taste in my mouth after I rejected Saito's invite to hangout, or did he just want to talk and make fun of me? Well then he would be the fool now.
I looked at my fingers, from the palm to my finger tips, looks a little bland maybe I'll do my nails. I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard a loud ringing noise.
Who could that be? I thought to myself. I picked up my phone and it was an unknown number. "Hello?" I asked.
"Yona, please don't hang up I-" Oops I hanged up. It was that stupid Saito guy again, what is his problem.
I think I got another text, this time from the girl's group chat. As I read through the chats, I realised that there will be a special festival tomorrow, the cherry blossom tree festival.
I'll definitely go, seems fun! I hopped off my bed and went downstairs to ask my mom.
"Mom guess what, there's a festival tomorrow, can I go please?" I jumped around in anticipation.
"Oh of course darling, wait right here I've got something for you!" My mom seemed really excited about this for some reason.
After a few minutes she came back with a dusty box in hand.
"Ta-da!" My mom smiled and blew the dust of the cover, she opened the box and inside was a beautiful white and blue kimono.
"I wore this when I was your age to a festival, the one where your father proposed to me, the good old days, anyways you really should wear it to the festival!" She gave it to me.
It was gorgeous, I didn't know how to thank her so I gave her a tight bear hug.
"Oh oof sweetie, got a call, now be a darling and go do your homework!" My mom laughed and quickly went to the kitchen with her phone is hand.
Well at least I figured everything out for tomorrow, I'm so pumped! I grabbed the box and took it to my room with me.
I should take a nap now, homework can wait. I guess I never got rid of the napping habit, even if I don't see Saito and grandma anymore. Huh I just realised the boy next door has the same name, well I can't say that name is rare.
I dozed off in my thoughts.
I opened my eyes and I was standing under a beautiful blooming cherry blossom tree, the wind blew gently against my skin and the grass tickled my feet.
I looked around and for miles there's nothing but grass and flowers. I looked back to the tree and I notice a boy sitting under it, his eyes were closed and he looked relaxed.
I walked over and without even realising, reached my hand to his face, his eyes opened up looking up at me and he gently put his hands on both of my cheeks.
We were slowly closing the distance, I can feel his ticklish breath against my skin.
"WAKE UP YOU'RE LATE!"My eyes bursted open to the familiar plain ceiling of my room. That was a dream? I tried to recall it both his face was blurry, I can't seem to remember him...
"COME ON IT'S ONLY YOUR SECOND DAY!" My mother shouted again to me.
I quickly got ready and ate breakfast and rushed to school.
"Did you wake up late sleepyhead?" I turned to see Yuki, he is one of my guy best friends, though I hadn't seen him yesterday.
"Where were you yesterday, oh my god we have so much to catch up on!" I grabbed his shoulders and shook him.
"Shhh no don't answer me, we are gonna be late!" I grabbed his arm and rushed to homeroom, phew just on time.
The day was really fun, I didn't see much of Saito, and I did my best to avoid him. Yuki was helping me out with that. All my other friends were happy to see Yuki today too, though I'm the closest with him.
He has been my friend even before Layla, though she's my best friend.
Time passed quickly and it's time for the festival, now I'm sitting in front of my mirror doing make up. Some white eyeliner, violet eyeshadow and reddish pink gloss. I put my hair into a neat bun and I looked in the mirror, I look hot like always.
I really don't want to walk to the festival but my parents are busy. I walked on the dark chilly road towards the festival. It's so quite it's creepy.
I looked down at my shadows, why is there another shadow?
My eyes widened, don't panic but there's someone behind me, don't panic, don't panic.
"HYYAAH!" I karate chopped who ever was behind me with my eyes closed.
"OWW what's that for??" I looked back to see that it was just Yuki. Oh thank goodness.
"Sorry I thought you were some stalker, anyways why were you so sneaky?" I frowned.
"Well I wanted to surprise you, you know like a TA DA, but I got a SMACK SMACK!" He laughed and mocked me.
"HEY I THOUGHT I WAS GONNA DIE!" I blew a raspberry at him, seriously though.
"Anyways let's head to the festival together then!" He said brightly and hooked his arm through mine.
I looked at him as the street lights glowed onto his face, for some reason he was always bright. Not like the normal ones, I don't think I have seen him sad. Not even once. Well that's probably a good thing, I looked back to the road and we walked off.
