BTW I WILL WRITE NOTES ON THEIR OWN CHAPTERS.Hello world!
Okay so, this is my first official blog entry -Steve said that it was important to learn about the outside world so he let me start a blog - so I thought I would just tell you all a little bit about myself:My name is Amaya. I am 2 months/16 years old girl. My favourite colour is anything other than white. And I love reading and dancing.
Today Steve finally gave me access to the internet, and I love it! I found this great blogging website called tumblr, Steve said that it would help me with learning about teen life.
I've been online for an hour and I've found bands that I've never heard of before, hundreds of fandoms, funny videos, and I think that the Egyptians weren't the only ones to worship cats.
I am Amaya, one out of 52. We were all activated 2 months ago. I know I said that I was activated, but that doesn't mean that I'm a robot. I am still human. We were once different people but we were used in an experiment that reassembles your bodies atoms into a new body. We - that is, my 51 brothers and sisters - are the survivors of the experiment. But for the experiment to work the people taking part have to be in puberty (teenagers) as well as fit and healthy.
Originally 500 people were off a place in the experiment, however only 177 agreed to give up their lives to create ours. The people who were offered to take part in the experiment were mainly from off the streets, people who needed a second chance, people who wanted to start over. Out of the 177 people who agreed to the experiment the fittest 150 were selected.
But only 52 of them survived the experiment. The experiment was composed of 6 months of preparation and design; 3 weeks of extreme fitness work out; 48 hours of regeneration, 30 seconds of activation; 2 weeks of basic motor skills;
2 years of learning; 3 months of outside lab life; and finally specialist adoption.
The people who we used to be, our former selves, designed us. They chose our names; our genders; our heights; our hair colours; our hairstyles; our skin colours; our nationalities; our eye colours; our voices; even our personalities! They also guide us throughout our lives: they leave us notes.
I don't know why but I've always gotten more notes than the others. The first note I received told me what my name means and why she chose it. The following notes contained advice, things she wished she didn't do, things she wished she did, what she would have done differently.
Tomorrow I finally get my next note. But until then I need to get through lessons.
