Chapter 9

Emma and Norman tried to look for Ray.It's been a week and they eventually gave up to find him.Ray didn't go to school either.

"Well Zander I should go home now" Ray told him "Alright do you want me to drop you off?"Zander asked and Ray shook his head."Bye!"Ray waved at him and left the house.He was walking back to the house while he was texting Gilda and Don.

R:Hey guys I'm walking back home
G:Alright but we're not home right now
R:where you guys at?
D:I don't know but we're driving down a street
R:What street

R:Oh I'm on that street rn
D:Are you the one with the Navi blue hoodie?
R:Yeah
G:Okay then we're right in front of you

"RAY!"Emma yelled as she hoped out the car and dragged Ray into it.'Well I'm fucked'Ray thought.Emma and Norman were yelling at him about Why'd he didn't come back."Guys stop yelling at him Jeez!"Don told them "No it's his fault he made us worry!!"Emma said and Ray rolled his eyes."Anyways it's too early and I want coffee"Ray said and a grin grew on their faces."Alright then let's just head back home"Norman said..

They got home and Ray went into the kitchen to make him a cup of coffee. Don and Gilda gave him a look then he remembered what they told him."I'm actually gonna go to the store to buy more coffee"Ray said "We have a bunch of other flavors tho"Emma told him 'damn'Ray thought."We're running out of this-"Ray tried to finish "No we have another pack of those"Norman said and passed him the pack."why do you guys want me to drink the coffee so much?"Ray asked them.

They acted stupid "How about I'll make the coffee for you"Norman said grabbing the bag from Rays hand."I actually don't want coffee anymore I'll just get an energy drink"Ray told him  and made his way to the fridge.'they put things in your drink'He remembered "You know what I will just go study..in my room"Ray said and went up to his room.Gilda glared at them "That was too suspicious right?" Emma asked and Don nodded.

Ray was in his room,he locked the door and left by the window.Ray laughed at himself when he accidentally slipped off the roof.He ran down the street "I just got home why did I leave again?" Ray stopped and asked himself."I hope Emma doesn't bother coming in my room...valentines day is in 3 days"Ray thought out loud.Ray smiled "what should I buy them..?"Ray was thinking. 'I'll just shop something online see what I can find'Rays was thinking continue to walk the sidewalk.

He bumped into someone,a girl he saw at the jewelry store.She went to his college too "Oh Ray is that you?"She said taking Rays hand to help her up. "Yeah I'm sorry for bumping into you" Ray apologized,Ray saw her face tint pink."It's fine what are you doing out here?"She asked walking beside him "Nothing really just bored"He answered.

They talked for a hour or two before she had to leave 'I should probably go home now..I never got her name'Ray said to himself walking back to the house.He climbed the side of the house and went back in through his window. When he went inside he heard someone clear there throat,he froze and slowly turned his head.He sighed of relief when he saw it was just Don and Gilda.

"Really we had to cover you up saying you were asleep"Don said then chuckled a bit."Good I thought it was Emma or Norman,I didn't want to get yelled at again"Ray whispered.Gilda rolled her eyes "Ray pretend to sleep now!"Gilda said in a yell whisper.Ray nodded and went to his bed and faked sleep,Don opened his door to see Norman and Emma making their way to them.

"So is he asleep?"Emma asked and Gilda nodded.Ray was fake sleeping "Okay then we should let him sleep" Norman suggested "Yeah but doesn't he have work later?"Emma asked "I think so but for now let's just let him sleep"Don said and he shut the door. Ray stood up from his bed,he had forgot all about work.He slapped himself and got up to get ready..
