It was the day Angelica had to chose who to go home with,Ray saw her mom but saw another man.Ray walked up to Michelle "who's that man?"Ray whispered "That's what I was going to tell you over the phone,her dad also wants custody over her"She explained. Ray sighed "Okay..can you tell Angelica to calm down and take a few breaths because from here I can see she looks like she's panicking or really nervous" Ray told her and she nodded.
Michelle went up to Angelica and told her what Ray asked her to say.Angelica calmed down and the judge was ready to begin."Alright today we have Angelicas parents and her foster parent"She started off."Now this is Angelica choice,who ever she picks she will go home with them"She continued. Angelica was sitting next to her knowing who to chose already but not sure."Angelica take your time"The judge told her and she nodded.
Angelica POV
I want to go with Ray but,if I do that means Veronica and David are going to hurt me if I don't chose them.No think Angelica if you chose Ray they won't be able to hurt or find you I think?I know who to pick now.
No one POV
"Veronica and David.."Angelica said her parents were shocked by her calling them by their first name.Ray felt his heart shatter thinking Angelica chose them."Is that who you want to go with?"The judge asked her."Let me finish..I'm sorry but I chose to go with Dad"She answered.She didn't want to go back with her parents,she felt safe with Ray.
"David us your choice?"The judge asked her and she shook her head "No dad,Ray"She answered.Rays face lit up,he was happy.Too happy to be exact "That's your final answer?"She asked Angelica and she nodded.Angelica ran off to Ray,she saw how he was crying happy tears."THATS NOT FAIR!" Veronica refused to let Ray take Angelica home."It's fair since you guys did abuse her"The Judge told her "I never did such a-"She was cut off by Ray.
"The explained the scar on her back?" He said "How would you know about that scar!?"David butted in."Shut up rapist"Ray said glaring at him "Your asking how I know about that scar then tell me how you know about it?"Ray said and left him speechless."You want to know how I know about it,Angelica trusted me to look at it.SHE TRUSTED ME EVEN AFTER WHAT YOU DID TO HER"Ray raised his voice.
"YOU GUYS HEAR THAT TRUST, THAT IS SOMETHING YOU GUYS WILL NEVER RECEIVE FROM HER" Ray yelled and then calmed down since Angelica was right next to him."She does trust me for a fact!Look she will even hug me"David said looking at Angelica after wards.Angelica hid behind Ray frighten "mhm sure she does but we should be going"Ray said holding angelicas hand.
They were about to walk out till Veronica tried to take Angelica away from Rays grip.He pulled her gently in front of him "don't touch her.."He told her with a death glare.They continued to walk out,Ray took a deep breaths "God that was scary"Ray said.Angelica was just staring at him "Can we go home?"She asked "Of course my dear child"Ray answered.
When they got home
"Can I meet your friends?"She asked Ray "You sure there a handful?"Ray said just to make sure."I'm a little scared but yeah I'm sure"She told Ray and he opened the door.They walked in too see everyone watching a movie and eating popcorn.Nobody noticed Ray and Angelica "Go sit down with them and start eating the popcorn with them"Ray whispered to her.
She nodded and walked to them sitting between Norman and Emma.Don not noticing passed her the popcorn bowl and she started to munch on some. After a few minutes Norman laid his head on Angelica head."Emma your hair is soft"Norman said feeling Angelicas hair."What are you talking about?"Emma turned her head and saw Angelica.
"AH THERES A CHILD!"She jumped off the couch,Angelica laughed at everyone's reaction.Nobody knew what to say "Who are you?Why are you here? How's you get in here?!"Don was filled with questions."What do you mean I've been here the whole time?"Angelica put her act on.Ray walked downstairs "WHOS THAT!"Ray also put his act on.
Ray looked at everyone's faces and couldn't helped but laugh "Uhh she's my Uhh cousin?"Norman lied "dad your friend is being weird!" Angelica whined.Ray slowly stopped laughing "THATS YOUR KID?!"They were shock."Yeah you guys took so long to find out"Angelica said rolling her eyes."I called him dad what do you think I am a raccoon?"She continued saying sarcastically.
"I don't like the way you talk to us!"Norman said crossing his arms "Alright Mr.Jack Frost"She giggled.Gilda and Emma laughed to themselves "Your mean!"Norman told her."And your gay"She said and Ray eyes widen "Angelica I don't think you should be saying that"Ray whispered to her.
"Am I lying tho?I'm positive he's gay" she said eyeing Norman who looked upset.Don was just there not knowing what to do "she looks like my poop!"Angelica pointed at Gilda.She gasped dramatically "I don't look like poop!" Gilda said offended."Well my poop is green sooo"Angelica shrugged.
