╰☆☆ "i loved you." were the only words ni-ki could think of that night. his memories were playing like an old flash drive of his past. the poor boy couldn't get a wink of sleep that night due to his insomniatic thoughts. "it's already morning?" he groaned as he got out of bed for the day. "hey ni-ki!" the same cheery male from yesterday exclaimed, patting on the seat next to him for the younger to sit on. "so have you smiled a lot today?" he asked as he bit into his pb&j sandwich. ni-ki shook his head, he didn't find the point in smiling if there was nothing that made the depressed boy happy. "what's the point." he muttered as he ate his sandwich. the grinning boy frowned. "don't say that. there's always something out there that makes you happy. what's something you look forward to?" he asked in hopes for the younger to answer with a pleasant response. "i can't think of anything." ni-ki lied. he's grown a slight liking to oddly positive male. "i know!" sunno exclaimed, snapping his finger as he thought of a solution for the mopey teen. "whenever i feel down..i think of my memories with someone i loved very much. do you have anyone you loved?" the curious male bombarded the younger with questions, leaving the poor boy conflicted. "good memories..i don't have any in particular." he mumbled as he thought about his past. the latter pouted. i've never met such a downer. "here." sunno explained, placing both of their palms against each other.
"if you have nothing to smile for.."
"i'll be your reason." he announced, interlocking their hands with a beaming smile. ni-ki stared at the boy in shock. i've never met such an optimistic person. he gave the joyful male a small grin.
