A/N: Hello! Welcome to my book! Most of this book is pre-written and was inspired by a dream.

Like seriously, I don't know why but it is XD.

Anyways, I hope you all enjoy my first Haikyuu Fanfic!

TW:For those of you who don't know, There is angst in this story, nothing too serious like participating in acts like suicide or self harm but there will be mentions of those things. Also there will be mentions of Kenma/OC Character. Once again it's nothing to serious it just adds to the plot.

Anyway, enjoy the prologue!

P.S: The ages differences between characters are the same as in canon. Kenma is 21 in this AU

They watched him as he walked down the hall. The usual crowed, loud, and cheery hall now silent and depressed.

Most watched him with solemn faces, the bags under his eyes only adding to their sympathy.

Others continued to do what they did, although they also had the boy in their head, wondering the same thing everyone was.

'How can he still go through with college with that much weight on his shoulders. That is if the rumors are true.'

Once the boy was out of sight the whispering and gossiping started.

"Who was that?" A new girl asked her best friend who was a 3rd year.

The girl looked at the younger dumbfounded. "You haven't heard? That's the transfer student everyone been talking about, He's been going here for almost a half of year"

"Why did everyone get so quiet and sad when he walked by?"

"You really haven't heard the rumors?"

The younger of the two shook her head.

The girl sighed and motioned her underclassman to come closer which was what the latter did.

"Look..." The older started in a hush tone. "Rumor has it that...That guy has a kid. An infant..."

The younger girl gasped softly in utter surprise as the other continued. "Whoever started the rumor said they saw him one day on the weekend coming out of the store with pampers and baby food. I don't know if it's true, but I had a class with him. He was usually coming in late and he looks so tired. He sometimes fall asleep in class."

The girl, still in shock decided to speak. "And he's doing well in his classes?"

There was a pause before the older "...Not only is he doing exceptionally well in my class with him. I heard from others who share classes with him that he's aces all of the assignments!"

"That's insane..." The younger mumbled as the other continued.

"It gets better...I heard that he's majoring in the Arts, digital art I think. Balancing all of that has to be hard..." The 3rd year sighed. "It's sad that his only on his 2nd year of his term... He got 2 more years to go"

"He's getting a Bachelor's degree in Digital Art?" The young girl said in disbelief.

"Thats the usually degree if your major is Digital Art. Crazy right?"

"He must be really strong..." The younger girl spoke again as she looked down the hall the boy walked down not too long ago.

"Yeah. He has help though...There is this guy I see him hanging around. You know him that showed you around last week." The 3rd year smirked at the younger who blushed red.

"He's helping him out?"

"Yup, if the rumors are true." The older continued to explain.

"Well I'm glad he isn't completely alone." The younger smiled before checking her phone, realizing how long they've been talking.

"Damn we have a lecture in 10 minutes."

"Well let's get going then. Don't wanna be late!"
