~Kenma~I woke up to crying...loud wailing and I knew exactly who it was. As if I was on auto pilot, I sat up without being fully awake while making a futlie attempt to rub the sleep out of my eyes. I looked at the digital alarm clock on my bedside table with drowsy eyes.
4:07 am...
So a total of 3 and a half hours of sleep today...That's a personal best.
I was brought back to reality when the crying got louder, remembering why I was up in the first place. Sighing, I pulled the soft sheets off my legs and stand up, briefly stretching before walking over to the small crib to the right of my bed.
"What is it KiKi...What's wrong?" I cooed reaching my hand down to softly rub her brown hair. She seemed to calm down a little at the touch, but that wasn't enough to stop her crying.
Already knowing what she wanted I picked her up and cradled her, cooing to her in a soft tone. She slowly calmed down, letting out a couple of hiccups before nuzzling into my shoulder.
Her small hands gripped my night shirt softly, her tears lightly dampening it. I smile softly, continuing to soothe her until she fell back asleep.
I sat her back in the small crib, rubbing her head again before moving back to my bedside table where my phone rested.
Guess I'll start my daily routine early today.
Opening my phone, I navigated to my contacts, tapping the contact that I needed.
Dialing...
...
...
"Kenma? "
"Hey...Finished your classes?" I looked over to my clock again.
4:29 am...His classes usually end at 4 or 4:30 am...
"You're right on time. I just finished listening to my last English lecture."
I walked into my closet, grabbing my clothes for the day before heading to the bathroom. "That's good."
"Yeah. I'll be over there normal time. Or do you want me to come earlier since you called earlier."
"No normal time is fine. I just wanted to get this part out of the way." I walked out of the bathroom in a orange hoodie and black jeans, my bag and beanie in hand.
"I figured as much. See you soon Kenma"
"Yeah, See you." I said before I hung up. I let out a small sigh looking over at the sleeping child as I put my phone in my pocket.
She's the most important person in the entire world to me.
My everything...
My 10 month old daughter...
Kikai Kozume.

"How did you sleep." Akaashi asked as he stepped inside my apartment, closing the door behind him. Straight to the point as always, not that I dislike that.
"Longer than usual but not good rest." I replied in my normal deadpanned voice.
"Unfortunately..." Akaashi sighed, adjusting his glasses and changing the subject. "Is she up?"
I shook my head and pointed to my bed room.
"She's sleeping still. She probably won't wake up for another hour or 2." He nodded in understanding sitting down on one if the chairs.
"You know, you really don't have to do this...I can mange on my own." I muttered quietly causing him to sigh with a small smile.
"You say this every time you know?"
"And I mean it every time."
Akaashi shook his head, that small smile still present. "And I meant my answer to it. I'm happy to help you. I'm not doing this out of pity."
I scowl a bit. I could never understand why he was happy to deal with my problems. If it was me, I wouldn't be so happy with dealing with a child after listening to professors rambling for an hour or more.
"Whatever you say 'Kaashi..." I mumbled pulling out my phone and checking the time.
5:45 am...Fifteen minutes to get to to my first lecture. Should I stop at my favorite coffee shop to get some breakfast?
Nah, I'm not hungry. Plus I had my daily dose of coffee earlier.
"I gotta get going...call me if anything goes bad." I said as I walked towards the door, hearing Akaashi's reply before I left.
"You know it never will."

I hate people...besides the few people I associate with.
People creates problems...no matter if it's a good or bad one.
People lie...
People break your trust...
People will always leave you...
So I try to limit my total of social relationships to around 3 people or less...since some people are really persistent.
'Why do they always have to stare.' I growled as I walked through the campus of the university, feeling all of the unwanted eyes on me.
I hate it when people do that...Look at me like I'm a stray kitten in need of help. I don't need their help. I have all I need already...Although that help was force upon me in a sense.
I continued my journey to my first lecture, doing my best to ignore the shameless stares from these forsaken people.
Thankfully, I was able to make it to the classroom without blowing a goddamn fuse by the stares. To think that I've been here for six months and I still can't stand the stares.
Well...I never liked being looked at from the beginning.
And I really hate it when people ask if the rumors are true...its none of their business so why ask?
Hopefully no one will ask today
...but judging by the eyes of my other peers drilling holes in every inch of my body, There was a slim chance that the universe would be on my side. It's never on my side for too long anyway...So it's nothing new to me.
Today is going to be a long day...
