The next morning, I woke up at 4:30am, which is my normal time to wake up (A total of 1 hour of sleep since I fell asleep around 3:30). After checking on Kikai, who was sound asleep, I started my routine.

I threw on a loose white T-shirt and some dark grey jeans as I run a brush through my hair, slipping on a black hoodie after that. Akaashi always tells me that my fashion sense is unique but I honestly don't care about appearance. I just throw on what looks nice. If it's a pink shirt with brown pants then that's what I'm wearing. But if I do have any kind of sense of style I blame that on art.

Sliding my bag over my shoulder once Akaashi got there at around 5, I made my way out of my apartment. Considering the fact that I don't any coffee at my apartment, I didn't make any coffee, or eat before leaving the apartment.

I guess I'll have to make a trip to the store after my lectures.

So here I am walking down the street, my destination: Joy's Coffee and Pastries. I don't usually go there for breakfast treats but Akaashi would lose it if he knew I haven't consumed anything in over 8 hours.

Well other than coffee that is.

Arriving at the coffee shop, I immediately realized there was a line, which reminded me why I hardly ever come here in the mornings. This place is obviously popular with college students and I would rather not have to deal with the stares this early, but I also don't wanna hear any scolding from Akaashi today. I let out a sigh and walked inside, keeping my head down to avoid attracting attention. Of course, doing that did nothing as I felt eyes burning through me the second I walked in. Another sigh passed my lips as I stood in line, silently begging the people in front of me to hurry up and order.

I pulled out my phone, looking down to check the time.

"5:12" I thought to myself. "48 minutes until my first lecture"

A couple minutes passed before I was next in line. I was happy to see that the barista was another acquaintance of mine.

"Oh Kenma!" Sugawara smiled. "Surprising to see you here."

"Yeah, you and me both." I replied, which gets chuckle from him, albeit the seriousness of my statement. "I'll just have my usual coffee with an apple bear claw please."

Suga nodded and handed the paper slip with my order on it to some other worker. "It'll be ready in a bit! Next in line!"

I moved away from the counter, looking around for an empty booth. Surprisingly, there was one right by the door. I moved to sit down, pulling out my phone for a distraction while I wait.  Many levels of Mario Kart later, I see a cup of coffee being sat on the table along with a small bag.

"Thanks Suga." I said quietly, not looking up from my phone. Sugawara nods as he sits down in the booth across from me, a small smile on his face.

"So how are you doing?"

Sugawara is one of the many few people who knows of my situation (not counting the speculated rumors, that's not the entirety of it). I met him through Akaashi of course, although if I had any classes with him (He has night classes, hence how Akaashi knows him), I'm pretty sure he would've talked to me.
