~Saturday
My first week of school went better than I thought it would. I've come to know that the crazy bra stuffing chick's name was Stefie Gonzales and she was the school wannabe diva. She had dated every guy in the school and was in hot pursuit of Niall, who didn't want anything to do with her.
My parents were out and left me home alone. I was sprawled out on the sofa reading my favorite book "The Hunger Games Mocking Jay" when I heard the tapping I heard on Monday. I tried to ignore it but the more I ignored it, the louder it became. Tapping became scratching that became whispering that turned into a blood curling scream.
At this point I literally threw my book at the window almost breaking it. Curiosity killed the cat, but that was the thing, I wasn't a cat. I ran down the creaky wooden steps that led to the basement until coming to a wooden door with a metal frame. I held the door handle hesitating to turn the knob.
A creepy knock came from the other side making recoil in fear. I stumbled over something that I soon recognized to be a stack of old newspapers. I read the date on the top one, it was a murder that happened last year. There was the girl from my dream, she killed them, her family. She looked exactly like me and the family looked exactly like mines.
I was about to run out of the basement when the door slammed shut. The light flickered before coming off leaving me in the dark. The door with the metal frame creaked open eerily and my hackles rose. I was paralyzed with fear as a figure came out looking exactly like me in a bloody whit nightgown. Her eyes were completely black and she had scars all over her body. She began carving the pattern of a moon and a star in her chest with a knife I hadn't noticed before.
My chest became tight and I was panting and sweating. It felt like my lungs stopped working and I became light headed. I collapsed scratching at my chest. The girl screamed again and I..............
Heya!!! Leaving y'all a cliff hanger! 😋
