>>Harry's POV<<
"Good morning, Love birds," Pansy said, causing Draco and I to look up from our breakfasts. We accepted the fact she calls us that. "I'm surprised you guys are down here before us," She said, sitting down, followed by the other 3. "We didn't sleep last night," Draco said, and Hermione gave Pansy a look, and they giggled a bit.
"Not like that, you pervs. Harry wasn't having a good night," He said, defending it, and it was true. I didn't have a good night last night, but that was because I woke up at like 4 am in a cold sweat.
Nightmares are the worst. I want them to stop. At least Draco was there to shake me awake and calm me down quickly, but it was too early to go back to sleep, so we took turns taking a shower, and then we sat on his bed, him drawing and me reading. He let me lean on his shoulder, and he made sure I was comfortable. He knows I don't like being alone after nightmares. And now we're here in the great hall.
"What are you guys doing for the Holidays?" Blaise asked, and I thought about what we talked about last night. He was going to come to my flat after he visits his mum. He wants me to come with him, but I haven't decided. "I'm going to see my mum in the morning, then go see Harry's flat," He said, and Blaise smirked as he took a sip of his drink.
"I'm staying alone for most of it unless Draco stays the night and going to the Weasley's on Christmas day," I said, picking at my food. We talked about whatever before we were dismissed to leave for the train. Our trunks are already packed for the elves to take for us.
Draco slid the compartment door open for me, and I slid by him in the small hall, and he winks at me as our chests just about touched, causing my face to heat up. I took my spot by the window, and he sat next to me. Pansy sat with Blaise on our side, and Ron and Hermione sat on the other. We were all in our own worlds.
"Do you like living by yourself?" Draco asked, and I shrugged. "Sometimes, most of the time, it sucks, because I'll wake up by myself and cry for a while until I can't anymore and drink some tea as I sit on the balcony railing," I said, playing with my hands and I could see him making a sympathetic face. "I'll get over it soon enough," I reassured him, looking up from my hands, and he hummed.
"We have a while until we get back. You should probably sleep more" "Probably, but will I?" I said before shaking my head, and he laughed a bit. "You're such a twat" He said, and my heart fluttered a bit, looking into his eyes as he smiled.
Definitely in love already.
>>Draco's POV<<
I was sat reading, it was a few hours later, and Harry was asleep against my arm. It was adorable. He was holding onto my arm a bit with his glasses in his lap. He seemed comfortable, so I tried my best not to move a lot. Pansy kept teasing me about us obviously like each other, but I wasn't sure if he felt the same.
Then again, we almost kissed a few months ago. I was brought out of my thoughts when I heard the compartment door open, and Ginny was stood there with an odd look. "Do you need anything?" Hermione asked, looking up from her book as well. "I wanted to talk to Harry, but" She gave me a dirty look at the sight of Harry cuddled up against me.
I felt his hand move down my arm, and I looked down, noticing he was lightly brushing my palm, so I let go of my book and opening my hand as he laced his fingers with mine.
My body felt on fire. His hand fit literally perfectly in mine, and I tried so hard to keep my cool. He squeezed my hand to tell me he was awake probably. He was a light sleeper, I have learned, so when Ginny came in, she probably woke him.
"He's asleep," Pansy said, looking up from leaning on Blaise, and she huffed. "Why are you touching him" "Actually, he touched me first, but," I said, looking down at my book before flipping to the next page cause I was reading the page over and over as I thought earlier.
