Change your Mind Ending

Ok, I wanted to write a small story where it's the end of Steven Universe in Change your Mind. I wanted to add Y/N in the end because, well. I dont really know, but I do really hope that you all enjoy it💕.

Steven sat on the sand near the water with his ukulele. He was thinking of everything that happened in the past three years. Meeting connie, helping his family with their problems, and having Y/N as his best friend since they were little.

He remembered when they first met, how little they both were.

Flashback Third P.O.V

A 5 year old Steven was sitting in his dad's van, with a big red shirt and large shorts on. He was messing with his ukulele when he heard his dad coming around the corner.

"Hey schu ball, an old buddy of mine came into town, you wanna come with me to greet him?" Steven looked down to his feet, then looked up at his dad and nodded his head.

He was walking barefoot, holding his dad's hand as they made their way to his old friends house. As they were approaching, he saw a man walk out of the house, going back to his car to get another box.

"Hey D/N!" The man then looked up, and his face immediately lit up at the sight of Greg. "Greg? Is that really you? Oh man, it's been forever, what happened to your hair?"

Greg touched his head saying " Oh, you know, getting older, and of course this little guy." Greg looked down at Steven, his eyes held curiosity at the man in front of him.

"Hel-hello" Steven said with a little wave. D/N responded saying" Hello Steven, it's nice to meet you". Greg then asked "Hey hows M/N doing, is she around here somewhere?"

D/N's frowned at the sound of her name, shoulders slumped and head down. Eyes holding pain and sadness in them. "Shes... not here with us anymore". Greg was shocked, he wasn't expecting that answer. "She was sick, we tried everything to help her, but there was nothing we could do."

D/N looked down, remembering everything that happened to his beloved wife. Greg then spoke up" Im... so sorry. She was a wonderful person." D/N then smiled, letting a tear drop from his eye saying "Yeah, she was".

Greg for sorry for his friend. But he understood his pain from when he lost Rose. But, he was thankful for Steven.

Just then, a little girl with ( h,l) (h,c) hair ran out of the house yelling " Papa, my room is huge, did you get my to-". The little girl noticed her dad crying, she then saw Greg and made a pout face. She stood in front of her dad with her arms put saying " Did this man hurt you papa, don't worry I'll protect you"

Greg looked at D/N in shock saying "PAPA! Your a dad too?!" D/N chucked at his daughters actions, wiping his tear away. He crouched down and said "No, sweetie this is one my old friends, from high school." Y/N looked up a Greg, still a little defensive, but she letting her guard down.

She then said " Oh, sorry about that. I've been a little defensive for papa. I want to be strong just like him." D/N look down to his daughter, touched at her words. She sometimes reminded him of M/N.

She looked a Steven, he was staring at her, he saw of her look at him and looked away embarrased with blush. She giggled a little putting her hand out for him to shake. "Hi, I'm Y/N, I moved here with my papa." Steven looked her hand, then back at her, smiling he took her hand and said "Its really nice to meet you. I'm Steven, Steven Universe."

She giggled at him with a cute little blush on her saying" Its nice to meet you too Steven" giving him a cute closed eye smile. Steven was blushing at this, he looked away from the girl, not wanting her to see him blushing.
