"thank you for dropping me off baby," [ name ] said once the car was parked. she unbuckled her seatbelt and leaned over the center console to press a kiss on her husband, tenya's cheek. "even though i told your stubborn ass i could've driven myself."

tenya placed a hand on his broad chest and scoffed dramatically, "well pardon me for being a good husband! but you barely obtained a sufficient night's rest and i didn't want you falling asleep behind the wheel!"

[ name ] forced herself not to roll her eyes at her husband's exaggerations. tenya used that same reasoning with her earlier that morning, insisting he drove her to the office despite [ name ] wanting him to sleep in on one of his rare days off.

but it seemed as though tenya forgot that it was him that kept her up all night or the fact that they both fell asleep around the same time, so she decided to help jog his memory.

"hmm and i wonder why i didnt get enough rest?" [ name ] enquired rhetorically as she stared at his side profile, innocently batting her eyelashes.

tenya choked.

a deep blush settled onto his cheeks as he recalled the events that took place last night into early morning. the sensual memories of passion filled kisses and wondering hands were enough to render him speechless─ and hot.

[ name ] observed tenya with a satisfied smirk as he fiddled the collar of his navy blue polo and swallowed hard.

"exactly."

nonchalantly, she pulled down the sun visor and peered at her reflection, ensuring everything looked presentable. she attempted at smoothening down a stubborn curl but it was useless so she left it alone with a huff.

by now, tenya's blush had calmed down a bit. he reached over to the back seat to grab [ name's ] purse and held it out for her, which she took with a smile.

tenya cleared his throat, "do you have everything you need?"

"mhm, now gimme a kiss so i can leave." she cupped his chiseled jaw in her palms and pressed a chaste kiss on his warm, pillowy lips. as she was about to pull away, tenya held her wrist in place deepening the kiss. it took [ name ] by surprise but she easily melted into his touch, releasing a satisfied hum before tenya pulled away, leaving [ name ] in a breathless daze.

well damn.

"hold on . . ."

[ name's ] heart rate picks up as tenya gently grasped the nape of her neck with one hand to hold her in place while he used the thumb of the other to carefully swipe away at the corner of her lips where some lipstick was smudged slightly.

the simple gesture made her stomach erupt with butterflies and her core warm with . . . something else. [ name ] contemplated on calling in sick just to go home for part two of last night, but tenya saw right through her.

"alright, i've held you back long enough. have a great at work sweetheart, i love you." [ name ] was about to protest but tenya gave her pouty lips a quick peck to shut her up and unlocked the car doors. 

"your boss just drove in, he probably saw my car already." [ name ] rolled her eyes.

"fine . . . i love you baby, but later i want a round two." she exits the vehicle with an agitated huff and adjusts her outfit, smoothening any creases the could've formed.
