Chapter 5-Jason

Leo, Jason thought. Leo son of Hephaestus. Jason and Piper only knew what kind of life Leo had. Only Piper and I knew what Leo was really like on the inside.

Leo was a broken clown. He could of had a life with joy and happiness with his mother but Gaea practically murdered his mother and giving him the blame. He was abandoned by his "family" and was taken from school to school living on his tone thing he had... Him being his funny self. He had a motto... Keep moving forward. But I thought to myself, even if you you kept moving forward with a broken foot you would have to stop at some point, right? Maybe Leo was just stopping at this point. He was stopping, breaking down and was going to continue moving forward.

Leo after all, must have been feeling left out. And Annabeth and Percy where in Tartarus. He probably felt guilt there too. Jason thought, I bet he is just stopping moving forward right now... Just don't worry about it Jason....

Jason walked back to his room and surfed the Internet like what he does when he's sad. He doesn't really pay any attention to the what he's surfing, he just looks. Like right know he was looking up a recipe for pork chops; and Jason didn't even like pork chops. All I can think about is Leo. And of course Annabeth and Percy.

He thought about those two... Jason has always had a little rivalry between the two of them secretly. They would both compete for leadership. Jason was secretly envious of Percy. Percy was so well loved by his camp. He was constantly talked about for those 9 months missing. He thought about his own camp. He was yes, the centurion of the camp, but he was hated by many campers. And when the Leo was possessed and attacked his camp unwillingly... How quickly his own camp mates attacked him... Was he really that great of a leader? He was envious but now this great, loyal leader was in Tartarus. Was he going to be just like that when or if he got out of Tartarus? Jason tossed that thought aside and looked at BQ ribs.

Piper popped her head in the door.

"Hey, Jason? Can I talk to you?" she asked.

"Yeah," I said.

"It's Leo... He's acting... Mean," Piper said.

"I know just give him some time..."

he's probably just messed up. He's had a hard life. I would just give him a break..." I told her.

"Yeah. Ok. It's just.. He's acting... Strange," she said exiting the room.

I stared at the computer screen and closed it.

I walked on deck and found coach hedge hitting a practice dummy in the face. He looked at me and walked over.

"Wazz up, Cupcake?" he asked me.

"How is Leo?"

"Mean," he said walking over to his practice dummy and hitting it. I fallowed him.

"What do you mean?" I asked him.

he said, "He asked ME to get HIM a coffee. That-"

I stopped him, "Anything else?"

He looked irritated for me interrupting but said," just acting strange, but that's teenagers right?"

I walked away and up to the control room and saw Leo stirring the boat.

"Hey Leo. How are you feeling," I asked.

"Since when do you care how I am?" he said coldly.

"I--I--," I walked out.

I thought about what he said. I have been not talking to him ad much...

Who am I kidding? I've been ignoring my best friend! I felt guilty...I walked back into the control room where I found Leo stirring the boat stiffly.

"Leo, I'm so sorry man. I've been completely ignoring you.... I'm so sorry," I said.

He didn't reply.

"Leo?" I said walking up to him and grabbing his shoulder.

He turned.

His eyes where completely black.

"I'm sorry too," he said. But the voice wasn't his.

"I'm sorry too," he repeated, "but you have to die."

Cliff hanger!!!!:D

Ok, so I know all you fans of Percy and Annabeth are like probably dying about me not writing about a chapter about them... Truth is that... I will! :D just relax. Next chapter will be VERY romantic! Well as romantic it can get in Tartarus.... ANYWAY! I'm holding back on the next chapter cuz I know, you know and even Rick Roredian himself knows that he would leave us on a cliff hanger..
