UNEXPECTED LETTER

the day was going great, Dream was just playing games and chatting to his friends on discord. nothing out of the ordinary honestly, his life was always the same, over and over again.''

'' hey, so hows collage?'' asked george, an old friend

'' i dont know, its just, im getting avarage grades and no guys pay attention to me''

''oh, that reminds me, did you know Sans is attending your collage?''

''he is?'' dream asks, blood rushing to his cheeks as he feels a single drop of sweat leave his forehead

sans was an old crush of Dream, from highschool. Dream has never really gotten over it, but theyve never really talked much so he gave up on it

''yeah, i heard hes a grade higher than you'' goerge interrupted dreams inner thinking

''i bet he doesnt even remember me''

''well why dont you ask an- OOOOH'' goerge screams at the top of his lungs and in the background dream can hear goerges mum yelling at him

''WOAH DUDE TALK TO YOU LATER'' goerge yells and quickly ends the call, dream is left alone all to his thoughts until

*DING DONG* 

He hears the doorbell ring

he nervously hovers his hand on top the doornob, why was he feeling like this? all the past memories came flushing down as he stood there for 10 seconds

*DING DONG*

the doorbell rings again, with no other choice dreams sweaty hands open the doornob to meet face to face with a local mailman

''good afternoon mr.Wastaken, i have a letter for you :D''

dreams feels all his anxiety wash away once he hears the friendly greetings of the mailman

''oh, uhhh ok?''

without a second though the mailman quickly hands dream the letter and closes the door

Dream now left dumbfounded looked at the letter at hand

it was a normal letter, but it had a heart sticker and ...

''..from mr.boner'' dream unknowingly read outloud

wait.. mr.boner?? THATS SANS'S LAST NAME

filled with shock dream trys calling up george again, to no avail

after that fails he tries the same with sapnap, yet he doesnt pickup too

left alone with the letter at hand dream carefully open it

he can feel the nerves in his body stiffen and his cheeks grow redder

after opening the letter he is greeted by this

i know this is all so random, and you probably dont remember me, but im sans, from highschool

when i heard that you are accepted to my collage i couldnt keep my bones in place

i wanted to say i really like you, and i would like to go out to coffee sometime

WHAT THE HELL

Dream was schocked, he kept re-reading the letter over and over again, making sure it wasnt all in his head, and everytime he came to the same conclusion

having no one to call at this moment he knew the next best bet is onceler, his old friend, hes a it greedy and outdates so he doesnt have a phone, but he spends all of his time on campus

dream knew he had to tell him all about it

wasting no time he quickly put on a green hoodie and some old dirty nikes

he ran through the door at full speed to campus which was less than 5 minutes away

every step he took he felt his heart spirral out of control 

and his mind re-playing the image of the letter 

once he was on campus he ran to the library where his old pal spent most of his time

he ran at full speed until..

* CRASH *

dream falls to the ground with a huge thud

he looks up with a shocked look and sees the person he loves most
