"Its the first time i hear about a honeypot but it completely makes sense, some things just seem to good to be true but at the same time you dont care. id love to hear the honeypot story and any other you may dig up ahaha!
i realised i havent given you a song in a while, we could listen to Dead Sea by The Lumineers."I'm not very good at telling when things are too good to be true. Anything good seems to be too good. Things are somewhat weird here... I-
...
Oh the box!! Yes I found it, it was under a pile of letters. It's not very big, about the size of a shoe box, but it has so many stories in it. How do we feel about a story while we listen to music? Or should we save the story for later so we can focus on the song? I'll play the song and then decide I suppose
[now playing: Dead Sea- the lumineers]
Oh my! This is a very nice song. I think it might go well with the story maybe? It's just very calming in a sort of strange way.
...oh no oh no oh no....I wreaked some of the stories.... the pages are all torn and some of the writing is smudged...
I don't know how to fix it, I can't remember how they went. I'm so sorry, I shouldn't be this upset over some paper... these stories just really meant a lot to me. I'm going to do my best to fix the wrecked ones later but right now I have a few that are ok. The honeypot one seems to be fine other than a bit of smudged writing!
'Once upon a time there were three friends. There was a fox, a crow and another creature that would often change its shape but liked to appear as a dove around their friends.
The fox pursued academics and the dove loved the creative arts. They were both very skilled. The crow did not have a passion and often doubted their worth.Instead of a passion the crow was fuelled by kindness. The crow would listen to the fox talk about the world for hours on end and care for every word. The crow would watch the dove draw for hours and appreciate every minute.
Then one day something changed. The dove and the fox made a deal to help the crow. They were saddened by seeing them doubt themselves and wished to help them see that they were worth all the stars in the sky and the sun and the moon.
They would have private sessions once a month, just the crow and one of their friends. The fox would try to help the crow learn about sciences and maths during their sessions. The crow wasn't very good at it. The dove would, at first, teach them about writing and drawing but when they realized that the crow was even more discouraged in their abilities then the dove changed tactics.
The fox continued to quiz the crow on the workings of the world, to no avail. The dove would now sit down and ask about their day and the songs they liked and the things they loved. The crow began to slowly open up and tell the dove. The crow and the dove would now meet alone once a week and talk. The fox did not know.
The fox complained to the dove "I can't make any progress" and the dove told the fox that perhaps the crow should find it's own passion.
So the next session the fox asked about the crow's passion and the crow couldn't think of an answer. So the fox offered to preform a study to find the crow's hearts desire. The crow agreed.
The fox did some tests and found something that they were unhappy with. They felt betrayed by the crow's desire and when the crow asked what the fox has found, the fox lied. The fox told the crow that they did not have a heart. The crow despaired but the fox told them that he would fix it.
The fox went to the dove and told them what he told the crow. The dove despaired. They did not want their friend to suffer. After a long time, the dove formed a plan.
The dove removed their heart. It was very painful but they wanted to help their friend. When the crow was sleeping, the dove gave them their heart.
The next week the crow and the dove had their usual session. The dove was very tired and the crow noticed quickly. The crow sat them down and asked about their day. And about their favourite songs. And the things they loved. The dove began to cry. "I gave you my heart and nothing has changed, I couldn't help you"
The crow just comforted their friend and hid their tears from the dove. The dove noticed anyways.
A being can't have two hearts, so the crow's old heart was lost. The crow went to the fox in tears and told them what happened. The fox also cried. And then the crow begged the fox to Remove their heart. The fox regretfully agreed. He had never meant to hurt his friends, he was just angry in the moment.
The crow lay down and the fox took out the heart. The fox accidentally saw the desire of the heart and saw that the desire of the crow's heart had not changed. Something broke in the fox. He threw the heart to the ground and it shattered."
Oh, I can't seem to find the last page... it's a story without an ending now. I'm sorry, it can't be very good. You must be disappointed. I'm going to try to fix the wrecked stories and maybe I'll find the last page!! Thank you very much for the song, it was really really nice and made me feel a bit better
