Chapt. 8

I went to Eva's dorm and knocked on the door. Bridgette opened it.
"Uh, oh! You're here for Cody! Uh, he's not available at the mo-" She started, but was interrupted.
"OW! You really come your hair with th- OW!" We heard.

"Um, could you wait a sec?" She asked. I nodded awkwardly and she slammed the door.
"EVA HE'S HERE!" She yelled. I just stood there, waiting for something. Then the door opened, there stood Cody.

"Uh... Well this is kinda awkward." He said. There he stood, wearing the same suit as me. Instead of my black tie he had a white one, and had slightly lighter shoes.
"Uh, yeah. Let's just go." I said, holding out my hand.

He gladly took it and we walked to the gym. Courtney stood at the big, wooden, doors.
"Tickets please." She said, holding out her hand.
"You already know I have two tickets." I said, digging in my pocket.

"Yeah, but I have to be professional." She said. I rolled my eyes. I have her the yellow tickets and walked in. I looked around. There were a lot of people dancing, chatting, and eating.
"Wow, you and Courtney did amazing." He said. I smiled.

"Dancing isn't my forte, so how about we go to the buffet table?" I suggest.
"Aw, but you have to dance after!" He said. I nodded.
"Fine, but only one song." I said.

We spent a few minutes at the buffet table, and there was a song that was ending.
"Let's goo!" Cody said, while dragging me to the dance floor. The song was a slow song. A freaking slow song.
"Uh Cody, can we do a different song?" I asked, nervously.

"Noo!" He said. He put his hands on my neck, and I put mine on his waist. As we danced, it felt like we were on clouds. Nobody else was there. Being taller, I looked into his eyes. He looked back into mine. I leaned in, and our lips touched.

We stayed like that, as if our life depended on it. But, Cody ended the kiss.
"Uh Noah, I'm sorry I just-" I interrupted him when our lips touched again. When we came back to earth again, we saw everyone was staring at us.

Suddenly, we were attacked by Izzy, Owen, Gwen, and Courtney hugging us.
"You're lucky this is senior prom. Or else who know would've freaked." I heard Duncan say, somewhere in the room.

I rolled my eyes and hugged Cody.
"Soo, does this mean..?" He asked, looking down.
"Yes, dummy." I say, ruffling his hair.
"Hey! I suffered to do my hair." He said.
"We have to keep it a secret." He says.

"Why wouldn't I wanna wave my greatest accomplishment in everyone's faces?" I ask.
"Because, some of the people on other seasons have never meant us, just like how we've never met them." He says.
"Fine whatever." I say.

"So uh, can we get back to dancing?" I ask while looking around. The dance floor gets crowded again and everyone starts dancing to another slow song. I spend majority of the night dancing with Cody.

"Cody, my feet hurt. The dance is about to end anyway." I complain to my new boyfriend. Yay me.
"Fine. Only because mine are getting sore." He says. We walk to our dorm.

I immediately changed into pajamas and hopped in to bed. A few minutes passed, and Cody walked in, rubbing his eyes.
"Noah, can I have a hug?" He asks. I groan. I get up and hug him. I give him a small kiss on his head.

"Go to bed. Tomorrow is when we'll have auditions." I say. He nods and goes into his room. I slowly fall asleep...
