"I hate motels..." Drake muttered as he stripped the broken bed. Of course, the room we had chosen had serious bed bug problems.
"If you would have been patient-"
"Patience-shmatience." Drake interrupted. "They shouldn't have let our money go to waste. $1000 Ann, $1000! That's ridiculous!"
I had two choices, one, listen to Drake's lecture, or take the girls to the bed and breakfast. You can already guess what I chose.
When we had arrived, I ordered the girls pancakes and me a caramel latte. As we were feasting, I overheard a conversation between two young men around the age of 21.
"Did you hear the news?" A tall, muscular blonde guy asked.
"'Bout that new Freddy Place?" His short, chubby friend replied. "Yeah, I heard it's CREEPY."
"Psh, it's all fake, Carl. You can obviously see the blood is painted-"
"Excuse me?" I asked, interested in the conversation. "Were you two talking about Fazbear Entertainment?"
"Yeah, bruh." The chubby one, Carl, replied. "Apparently they found some ruins from the old pizzerias and put it together to form an attraction. Jake says its fake, but, I think it's real."
Jake rolled his eyes. "Of course you do, Carl. You could fall for anything."
"What is this place called, exactly?" I asked, annoyed at the boy's bickering.
"Fazbears Fright, I think. But just know, it's FAKE! It costs like, 30 bucks per admission. Don't waste your money. Go to Disney World or something." Jake said.
I wrote down the name and asked for the address. Thankfully, it was only about 2 hrs away. Not too far, but I'd need an excuse for Drake...
"Thanks boys. " I said as I walked back to the table. Our food had arrived, and the girls had already went through ALL the pancakes. I sat down and drank my latte, looking up Fazbear's Fright on my cell phone.
First thing that came up was a news article. It was titled, "Fazbear's Fright Discovers Animatronic, Will Soon Make It's Way To The Attraction!" The article then goes on to explain how going through one of many abandoned storage units in Denver, a box was found with the label "DONT OPEN!". The searchers opened anyway and found one of Fazbear's Old Animatronics!
At the end of the article, it gives the date the animatronic will be added to the attraction. The date was tomorrow!
As soon as I clicked schedule a Frightful Tour, a message flashed on my screen. It was written in red. "Don't go. Protect your family. DONT END UP LIKE ME!!!"
A blood covered finger print then replaced the words.
