Another Breakfast

The next morning we all gathered for breakfast again. Megan was feeling happy and had made us toast and eggs before either of us woke up. We entered the kitchen almost at the same time, both looking tired as hell. Estelle had a pissed-off expression on her face, and I worried that I had done something really wrong. But she seemed to direct her frustrated expression towards Megan, so perhaps not.

"Morning Sleepyheads," Megan said. "What took you both so long? It's almost ten, you're both up usually for hours at this point", she said. Estelle scowled at her and sat down. She put her head in her hands and sighed.

"I had the best dream last night", she said. "It was wonderful and happy and I was excited, but then something woke me up and the dream didn't continue", she said and her eyebrows twitched. I knew what she talked about, but I hoped she meant Megan and not me. Both of us had interrupted her, but I hoped what she said was not just horny lies and she meant Megan. I blushed just from thinking about it. Megan glanced at me, irritated.

"Sorry about that, Ally sometimes has bad dreams, and she screamed quite loudly last night, I woke up to it too", she said. Estelle glanced at me and grinned slightly, then she looked at Megan and her pissed-off expression came back.

"Nah, it wasn't her", she said shortly and picked up bread from the table. She munched on it and muttered something under her breath.

"How're you feeling, Ally?" she said to me. I couldn't help it, so I scowled at her too. She scrunched her face at me. "What's with you two today? Did you share a bad dream or something?" she said and turned around to concentrate on cooking. She shook her head. "And here I was thinking this would be a nice day to be together, just the three of us. I watched the news and we're gonna be living together for quite a while so we might as well get comfortable being together," she said.

Estelle scowled at her, turned to me, and smiled such a warm and tender smile I thought I'd melt. "No, we shared the good part of the dream..." she said quietly and winked at me. "Works for me", she said aloud. "I've always wanted to get to know your sister better anyway..." she said and grinned at me. I blushed like crazy and looked down. She giggled.
