The paperwork with Viv felt like it took forever. I was surprised at how much I had to sign and read. Making my way back to my desk I checked the time, it was six in the evening and it was dark outside.

I was thinking about the interview and how strange it was. I was only asked three questions and the job was mine. This was supposed to be an important role, and the interview was barely an interview. I was asked more questions when I applied to my original job. Something was seriously off about it, and I had a bad feeling about it.

When I got to my desk, Sarah was sitting there, in her own world. "Sarah? What are you still doing here?"

"I was waiting for you to come back," she said hoping out of her daze. "So, tell me, How was it?"

"Well, I got the job." I excitedly let out.

Sarah let out a gasp, she shot out from her seat, pulling me in for a hug. "Congratulations! I knew you could do it!"

I finally managed to wriggle out the hug. "Thank you. But, I have a strange feeling about this."

"What? Why?" Sarah shook her head, furrowing her brows.

"The interview was so strange. I was only asked three questions, about ten minutes later I was offered the job. I never even got to say what I wanted to say, I didn't get to talk about my my abilities and why I want this job."

Sarah stood there looking at me, "Are you being serious? Who cares? You got this job, so, let's go and celebrate." Sarah started waving her hands around, as she wiggled herself jokingly.

"Sarah stop! I'm serious, this is not just any job, it's quite important and I got it without talking about whether I have the abilities to do it. Do you not find that a bit strange?"

"Oh my!" Sarah said putting her arms around my shoulders. "You need to chill. You got the job, be happy. At least see how it is, if you don't like it, I'm sure you can ask to leave."

I thought about Sarah's words, maybe she was right. I got the job I should be happy, so what if I wasn't asked proper questions, I still got the job.

"So which club are we going to celebrate?" I asked, wriggling my eyebrows.

Sarah's face lit up like a lightbulb, "Now that's what I'm talking about. Let's go and get drunk!"

I started to laugh, Sarah was acting like she was already drunk.

"First things first, I need to go home, I need to tell Calum. I don't know if he'll be happy for me-"

"Who cares about him, let him know, if he wants to join us he's more than welcome to. If not, forget him." Sarah interrupted me as she gathered her things and made her way out. I quickly grabbed my things and followed her.

Driving on my way home I started to feel happy and giddy about getting this new job. I was suspicious at first, but Sarah talked some sense into me. Entering the apartment, I noticed Calum sitting on the couch.
