Kylie's POV
The next day I was woken up by the sound of my alarm.
"Fuck" I said while getting up and turning my alarm off.
Even though I'm a nerd I still curse you know
I directly went to the bathroom to take a hot shower. I spent the whole 30 minutes taking a shower. I directly went to dress up not wasting any minute of my time left, I wasn't those type of girls who takes over an hour to dress up and picks an uncomfortable clothing that can barely cover their butts
As I went downstairs I already heard my parents fighting. Not even bothering to stop them from screaming their lungs at each other, I directly went outside the house by slamming the door shut not even caring if they notice me or not.
I scoffed, their always like that.

Surprisingly, when I went inside the school there was no bumping on me, no falling of books and no people calling me a nerd.
Weird. I thought
It was also weird that Michelle was avoiding me.
When the school bell rang I directly ran to my English class. Unluckily Collins has the same class as mine and surprisingly he is absent.
He might be the school's badboy but he was never absent and yeah he is always late.
I was snapped out from my thoughts when the school bell rang signalling that the class is over.
It was weird that I barely paid attention to the class.

When lunch came someone bumped on me, making my books fall on the floor
Huh, I thought I was gonna survive the day on not bumping on people but I guess I was wrong
"Sorry!" The person who bumped on me apologized
Okay, this is so strange for the first time someone said sorry to me!
"It's okay" I said when I was done picking up my books.
"Let me help you" He offered
"No it's fine really"
"Are you sure? It looks heavy"
"Yeah really. I gotta go" I said not wanting to make the conversation long.
When I was about to go,
"Wait! What's your name?" He asked me
Really? First he bumped on me, Second he said sorry to me and Now he's asking me my name?! This day is really weird
"Kylie. Kylie Anderson. What about you?" I said while smiling
"Dylan. Dylan Cohen"
There was a pregnant pause before I spoke up
"Uh, I gotta go. Not wanting to miss lunch ya know."
"Sure. It was nice meeting you by the way."

When I was in the cafeteria, I directly went to the table to ask El questions
"Hey El, why is Austin not here? Why are the people staring at us?" I directly asked her
"Didn't you know? Aleisha and Austin broke up." She said
