Annika's P.O.V.

I kissed Shivaay Singh Oberoi. Fuck. What did I do? No wonder his eyes attracted me last night. Shrugging my thoughts, I left towards the office where the investors meeting was supposed to be held. Gauri was with me. Bhavya had already left for India this morning.

I walked into the board room with Gauri and my PA, Sia. Entering, I greeted the businessmen and women there when I noticed the blue eyed one staring at me. I was shocked to see him there and so was Gauri. She whispered something to Sia and then came towards me, "Anu. Oberois want to invest as well. That's why he's here." I hummed listening to her and cleared my throat before beginning with the presentation.

As I finished, I was greeted by a large applaud. Mr. Daksh Khurana was the first one to come up with his opinion and was interested in investing. Afterwards, Khurana Industries and Khanna Group of Companies came followed by some others. The only companies left were the Kapoors and Oberois. What confused me was why was both Shivaay and his father-in-law interested in the same business. Did they not merge?

Shivaay, I mean Mr. Oberoi's PA, Mr. Mishra signed in a yes after which Mr. Kapoor left without any words. I was confused but soon was pulled out of my reverie by Mr. Khurana. "Ms. Annika. I must leave now. Looking forward to working with you, beautiful." I smilingly shook his hand as he left. The other companies too left and so did Gauri, Sia and Mr. Mishra. The only people in the room were Mr. Oberoi and I.

I looked at him before walking towards him. I forwarded my hand with a formal smile, which he accepted shaking my hands. I was about to leave, when he held my wrist and came near my ears whispering, "I thought you knew about me Ms. Sahani. You proved me wrong. You still have a lot to know." His words didn't make any sense to me since I did know about him.

He was Shivaay Singh Oberoi. The man, the celebrity I once loved. The one I can never get. Tia's husband. And her soon to be child's father. I did read somewhere that Tia was pregnant. What did I not know?

Shrugging it off, I left the room at once not bothering to look towards him. He can't come back again. I can't fall for him again. I can't go through all that again.

Shivaay's P.O.V.

I watched as she gave the presentation flawlessly. I was impressed. I saw her looking confused at me and Mr. Kapoor, Tia's father. That's when I realised that she still thinks I'm married to Tia.

I thought she knows quite a lot about me. But clearly, she didn't keep up with the latest informations. In fact, she completely cut herself off from anything related to me. Why? That only she can answer.

I knew she was in London before I came here. I tried looking her up on social media, only to fail. Then I used Rudra's account to search for her thinking he might already be added to her. But no. He wasn't added to her but her profile did come up. It was public. That's when I realised she blocked me. Why on earth would she do that?

As everyone left after greeting her, I didn't budge. I kept standing and looking at her. She came and forwarded her hand for a handshake and attempted to leave the room before I stopped her. I told her that she has a lot to know about me after which she abruptly left.

It's been a week to that incident and not for once has she talked to me except for professional reasons. We are supposed to fly to India tonight. I called her up to let her know that I have prepared my private jet for us. She picked after five rings. Wow. Shivaay Singh Oberoi has to wait now.

"Hello," she spoke sleepily. I sighed looking at the clock. It was half past nine and she was still sleeping. Giving her own medicine to her, I acted professionally, "Good morning, Ms. Sahani. It's quite late for a businesswoman to wake up, I believe." I heard some ruffling of sheets and understood that she was getting off the bed.

Clearing her throat, she spoke, "I think that's my problem, Mr. Oberoi. May I ask, why did you call me this early?" Rolling my eyes at her attitude, I began, "I called you to inform that I have scheduled my private jet for us to go." "There's no need for that, Mr. Oberoi. I am happy with the regular flights," she spoke.

"I said I called to inform, I didn't ask. So, kindly please be at the airport by seven-thirty," I hurled and she was about to retaliate but before she could, I cut the call.

She owes me a lot of answers and I knew I won't be able to ask her if we're not alone. Hence, this plan. Hope it works.

Third person P.O.V.

Annika reached the airport at sharp seven-thirty and found him ready. He nodded at her and asked her to follow him to the jet after the formalities. Everyone was standing, with their heads down, which screamed the power of Shivaay Singh Oberoi.

As they entered the jet, Annika was awestruck. Everything was luxurious and perfect. She moved forward and took her seat. She dialled her mom's number to talk as there was still time for take off when she saw, Shivaay closing the curtains so that they're separated from the crew members.

She thought he'd sit in the seat in front but she was wrong. He sat beside her which shocked her. Annika tried ignoring him and was talking to her mom when she felt his hand on her thighs. Her eyes bulged up and she tried removing his hand but failed and gasped when it went further up.

She quickly excused her mom and cut the call before turning to him. "What do you think, you're doing, Mr. Oberoi?" She spat at him. He shrugged and smirked turning towards her, "Completing what you began that night, Ms. Sahani," he spoke.

Shivaay was well aware that the attraction he felt towards her was not one way. She felt the same. Hence, even though she showed reluctance, she was giving in to his touches.

He sighed as they took off. They could satisfy their physical attraction later. They needed to talk now. As soon as the seatbelt sign was off, he pulled her hands and got up while she followed him to the bedroom like a lost puppy.

He locked the door and turned to her. He held her shoulders and made her sit on the bed. "Where's your phone?" He spoke. She was confused. Watching him forwarding his hands for it, she held out her phone after unlocking it, and placed it in his palms. She looked on as he went to the instagram app, then to his profile and unblocked himself.

She gasped wide eyed, "You can't do that, Shivaay." "I can." He spat out. He handed her the phone and then asked her to look into his profile. After she was done, he took it back and went to Wikipedia to search himself. "Read." He spoke. "What will I do reading you biography?" She replied. "Read, Annika."

Annika was shocked when she saw that he was unmarried and looked at him. "But your mom announced your marriage," she spoke to which he replied, "which I broke."

He sighed explaining everything to her and then looked at her. "Now answer me. Why did you block me?" He asked. She was silent, "Nothing important." She said. Shivaay joined his forehead with her and urged her to say.

"I loved you." She spoke and tears fell down her eyes. Shivaay was shocked listening to her. She looked at him, "I loved you Shivaay. I was stupid. I idolised you. But I forgot we can never be together. If you were the sky, I was the ground. I couldn't bear it when you got engaged. I know my love was illogical. You didn't even know me. But I couldn't help it. When your marriage was announced, I felt this is the end. I wanted to kill myself. But I had to live. For maa, for Saahil. That's why I stopped knowing about you. Hell, I slept around with people to forget you but I failed. I can't. I love you. I saw your eyes that night, I didn't even know it was you that night in club. I thought someone else's eyes were similar to yours and I gave in, I.."

She was a crying mess and before she could complete, Shivaay smashed his lips on hers, sucking them softly. "I love you too, Annika." She heard him whisper against her lips and looked at him with wide eyes.
