Chapter 3

Nash's POV (Pretend Nash Lives in LA)

We were heading back to LA from our vacation in Australia. By 'we' I mean Matt, Cam, and I. I just woke up and the plane still hasn't landed, great. I had to go to the restroom so I tried getting up without waking Matt. He had his head on my shoulder so I carefully lifted it so I won't wake him. Haha, that's odd, since when do I care if Matt wakes up or not?

I successfully got out and felt accomplished or satisfied, I mean you would if you had to do what I did. Ok, so that sounds confusing. Let me make this simple. I sit in the middle and Matt is on my right, and Cam is on my left. Well anyways. I was walking to go to the restroom when someone bumped into me from behind, I didn't care to turn and check so I walked into the restroom.

 Wait, that sounded mean. I meant I did care but I care more about peeing in my pants or not. Once I was done I heard a girl talking with... Matt.  Wait Matt? I start to listen to their convo since they were right outside, and it seems like Matt caught her from falling and was trying to charm her.

She had the most angelic voice and sounded cute. Getting flustered and stuttering. When I heard them say good bye I came out, and saw her waiting. She looked really gorgeous. She had tight navy blue jeans and a oversized sweater that she looked cute in. Good thing I wasn't the only one staring.

I decided to talk "Oh hey my name's, oh wait, were going to say something?" I begin but stopped when I saw her mouth open but then close. She seemed surprised I stopped. When we were done talking we went our separate ways. Well, I just walked a few feet away and she just closed a door. I smirked in victory looking at my hand, I got the Angel's number, or Maia.

Matthews POV (Also lives in LA)

I felt someone lift my head up and down but I ignored it. Trying to fall asleep again, failing of course, so I decided to go to the restroom. I saw a girl in front of me and in a blink of an eye she was falling. I quickly caught her before she fell on the ground I cursed whoever left a girl to fall. When she steadied herself getting up she looked me up and down stuttering, which I found adorable.

"Catch the thanks, I mean the thanks catch. Ugh. What I meant to say was thanks for the catch."

"Thanks for being a catch and my names Matthew" Smooth, Espinosa. She introduced herself as Maia and went to the restroom. What a pretty name for a pretty girl.

Cameron's POV

I woke up with Nash and Matt at my side, daydreaming? I don't know but my legs needed to be stretched so I did the obvious. I saw a girl coming my way walking backwards but it was too late and she fell. But she fell into my arms instead of the floor, good. She quickly got up and steadied herself. Then she got up "I'm sorry Jo-" She stopped herself and dare I say, checked me out before blushing. She then introduced herself stuttering.

Since I was doing much more than checking her out, thinking what I would do if she was mine, I introduced myself and then she left. She was cute, actually she was graceful.

Maia's POV present time

I realized I probably seemed like a b*tch so I started to talk. "You know, we don't really, uh know each other so maybe we can play...  20 questions?" Everyone nodded, some slightly smiling and I frowned a little. Since when am I so, cheerful? I glanced toward Matt, Cam, and Nash (AN: decided to call them that since Matthew can Cameron seemed too long to typed) and saw they seemed to be in a hurry.

 "Unless you have somewhere to be, that's fine." I added walking up to them. Making sure not to sound mean.

"Well we kinda have to go but if we meet again Maia, than we'll be friends got it? Maybe get to know each other more." Matt said looking at the guys and they all nodded. "Sounds good (Feels Good ;-), bye guys"

"Bye Maia." They all replied and turned, talking to each other and disappearing into the crowd of people. I turn towards my family and they smile at me, the boys looking me up and down and the girl smiling at me. Looking very happy. "You know what maybe we can just head home. Sounds like a plan?"

The older woman said walking toward us with her husband and everyone nodded their heads or mumbled yeahs. We all bundled into a mini van, but before I got it Jo smiled at me and gave me a thumbs up. I only forced a smile and got in. God it was so squished. "Uh Maia, the drive's long so you can uh, get comfortable." The woman says and I nod. I leaned my head back not wanting to intrude 'my brothers' space. I plugged my headphones in and blasted 'Girls Talk Boys' by 5 Seconds of Summer.

When I woke up I was leaning on a older blondes chest and feet by the other boys feet. I quickly readjusted myself and went through my phone. I could tell they both noticed I moved and were watching me.

I kept my gaze on my phone, making sure to avoid their eyes. I had a text from Alex. Alex was like a guy friend but he moved away a long time ago. I opened his text and it said...

Alex: Hey Maia I saw the news, I'm so sorry, So I have a brain and well, I have to have a brain to live and stuff and... well I know you have no older family... so where are you going? 

I laughed out loud at his comment he always makes me laugh no matter what. I realized this and I covered my mouth. I was always insecure about little stuff. For example my laugh. Alex can be such a dork, in a good way.

Maia: Hey Alex Um, I'm going to a house in LA with my foster family and thanks for the sympathy.

Alex: What a coincidence I live in LA too. I hope we meet.

Maia: Yeah that'll be cool where do you live??

Alex: I live in Northridge CA how bout you?

"Um hey guys where do you, or... we live?" I asked conscious about everyone and I was thankful not a lot of people looked at me. "Oh we live in Northridge, CA" I looked up at the person that said that on my left. "Oh great that's, cool" I said, trying to not show my happiness. "Why?" Asked the oldest I think. "My friend is our neighbor, well I think." I reply. Was it weird to tell them that? I don't think so. 

"What's their name?" He asked again, exchanging looks with the boy beside me and the girl in front of him. "Um, Alex?" After I said that, everyone went quiet. I furrowed my eyebrows but went back to my phone anyway.

Maia: OMG that's so cool I'm your neighbor

Alex: Yeah cool um I have to go. Bye.

Well, that's weird. He seems so closed off all a sudden. Oh well, I can text him later.
