A Ticking Time Bomb

It took 2 hours to get to therapy.Mae lives in a big city so there is a lot of traffic."Mom can we get Mcdonald's!"mae's little brother says."no,mom i want wendy's"mae complains.The car comes to another stop as the green light turns red.Mae turns up the radio in hopes of drowning out her little brother's sarcastic remarks.As they finally arrive.

"Have fun sweety"her mom says as mae tiredly climbs out of the car."okay bye" Mae says rolling her eyes.She quickly walks to the front door as it starts to sprinkle.When she walks into the therapy section of the building she sees the boy she met at the old sketchy gas station.She quickly dashes into the girls bathroom hoping he didn't see or notice her.She had five minutes until her session started so she left the bathroom to start heading that way.

An hour has past since her mom had dropped her off.Today's session was a little bit shorter then usual.But of course her mom didn't know that leaving her stranded for an extra hour and a half!"Great my phones dead and i have no idea where my darn charger is"she whisper yells to herself.Finally excepting defeat she slumped down onto one of the waiting seats and turns her attention to one of the old magazines.Just to find herself dreading the fact she's looking at all these beautiful models.

Thirty minutes have gone by of her staring at the same page.When a shadow creeps over her shoulder as a figure approaches."hey,it's mae right?"the figure says (in mae's head)"shoot shoot shoot what am i supposed to do aghhh can't i just die already"/"oh uhh y- yea"she says."oh cool i didn't get to ask you for your number the other day".Mae stares in disbelief a cute boy really want her number even after the fact she was so weird and ugly."Oh umm"just as she's about to answer her mom comes running in saying "mae sweety i'm so sorry i didn't read this weeks email,come on your brother is waiting"!"okay uh mom"mae then jumps out of her seat grabbing her belongings and dashing out the front door and into the car.

It's finally monday again the never ending cycle continues!At least today she wasn't rushing jessica was still sick so she had another awful day alone.As she was getting ready for school she noticed it was pouring outside so she went to ask her mom to see if she'll drive her to school."hey mo-" of course her mom was gone probably at her dumb shop office thingy ughhHhh guess i'll just have to walk she says to herself.She was almost there when a car slowly stops right next to her.

(her thoughts) "oh friccccck ima get kidnapped or killed (back to reality)As she's frozen still the window slowly rolls down to reveal james the boy from before.crap this is even worse she thinks"hey i can drive you to where ever you need to go"!Mae hates talking to people even more boys so what does she do she sprints to school dripping wet.She finally gets to her desk still wet from the rain.As james suddenly walks in "okay class we have a transfer student his name is james and i want y'all to tread him with respect.(yea like that will happen)finally it's the end of the day and Mae grabbed her bag and ran out of the school and back home dreading the fact she'll have to see him every day.
