Endless possibilities

Luckily I had a speedy recovery but I still had so many doubts. Like whoever the jerk was that got me into this accident. But one that kept my brain working was why Tony would go out of his way if he didn't have to. I decided for once to let it go that it was probably just nonsense in my head. I took a week off because Tony let me, but guess who was taking care of me... Yup you guessed it Sophie. My parents thought it was a genius idea to have her as company. I hated the idea but there wasn't much of a solution that I could find. Sophie barges into my room. Sophie: "let's go somewhere to take you out of the house." Me: "I think I am going to go to the coffee shop instead. I think I want to start working again." Sophie: "your such a workaholic but whatever. I'm going to go on a date with Alex then." She leaves and I start staring at my surroundings, I couldn't believe my cousin was dating my ex. More than ever I thought it was a better idea to leave Sophie behind. I was debating on whether or not to tell the guys but I knew they would try to persuade me into staying home which I didn't want. 

I arrive at the coffee shop leaving both Randy and Tony shocked. Tony: "What are you doing here? " Me: "I wanted to come in to help you guys. I felt bad for leaving you with all the work even though I told you I would help you." We were both looking into each other eyes and oddly I was starting to feel uncomfortable. Tony: "Don't worry about it. Your situation honestly was unpredictable. Are you sure though?" Me: "Yes if it is ok with Randy and you." Tony looked at Randy. Randy: "fine today will be a mini test run. I don't want you to work super hard ok." I nod I decided to help them more with cleaning and setting things up for them. It felt so weird to feel all this sudden concern I started to wonder if I had made the right choice. Also, I had started to notice I was a bit too observant with Tony. Fixing the client's drinks or even to him moving his hair back because it kept getting in his face. Randy did catch me a few times staring, but I tried looking away as much as possible. Randy: "hey I'm going to get us some lunch I will be back in a few minutes." So.. It was just going to be me and Tony. I really wanted to ask him so many questions, but I was wondering if it was the time and place.  Me: "hey can I ask you something?" Tony looked up giving me the same look he gave me at the hospital. Tony: "sure. Whats up?" Me: "I know this is none of my business but why did you change your mind of being able to work when I had the accident." As expected there was a moment of silence.... Tony: "well my ex girlfriend at the time was mad at me for getting this job so I was planning on quitting. Once the accident happened my ex dumped me." I literally wanted to facepalm myself. Me: "I'm so sorry I shouldn't have asked I just felt so confused." Tony patted me on the shoulder. Tony: "like I told you it isn't your fault. Anymore questions?" Me: "No. I think Randy will be here any minute now. I hope this didn't make things more awkward. " Tony: "no if you need anything just let me know ok?" I nod. That's when Randy arrived with our food and we decided to take our lunch break. It actually felt nice eating lunch with them and not be with annoying Sophie. Randy: "tony were you able to fix your problems with Sophie?" I gave Randy a confused look and I couldn't resist in asking. Me: "is that your ex girlfriend? Tony nodded. Tony:" I couldn't fix anything with her,  but yea why?" I was started to get a bit suspicious what if Sophie was dating two guys at once. Me: "do you have a picture of her." Tony gave me a perplexed look and showed me a picture on his phone. I couldn't even believe my eyes and was even more angry with her. She was already dating someone but decided to cheat with Alex anyway. I was debating on telling him because it had seemed stranger that Sophie had never mentioned him before. Like if she was hiding him for a reason. I snapped out of my thoughts when Tony asked me a question. Tony: "do you know her?" Me: "sadly I do I didn't want want to tell you this but it could be possible she was dating you and this other guy at the same time..." I could see Tony's eyes become furious with anger. Randy tried to change the conversation but nobody was listening. I honestly felt sorry for him he probably actually cared for my cousin and instead she treated him like crap. Me:"I'm so sorry for this. I was honestly hesitant in saying anything." That's when Tony left and got up. I honestly felt so terrible and felt so stupid for even saying anything. He probably thinks I am just as bad as Sophie when that isn't true. We aren't even blood cousins because all because of my godfather divorce. Randy decided to let me go home and told me I could help whenever I wanted to. I decided to leave but I didn't want to go home. I decided to stop at Paola's apartment again.
